I like Stephanie's saying: Your defect is some kind of natural born. Maybe you should learn to accept it and embrace it. Everyone should try to embrace and love what they have no matter it's good or bad. That's why important to have the ability to love yourself because you have to love yourself first before you can love other people. These words make us think about another situation. Birth defects may be easier to accept. I mean what about some of defects like a broken leg because of accident or disaster after the birth. This must be extremely hard during the lifetime. Try to tell yourself it's not OK to be OK.
