  • It's best to avoid the hot button discussions unless you keep your cool. Seven. Don't take taxis.

  • the best in the world.

  • The MRT - "Mass Rapid Transit" system is fast and comfortable.

  • Eight. Don't snack on the MRT. Singapore's MRT has been a NO eating or drinking

  • zone since 1987. Fines can be up to $500 for daring to bite. Nine.

  • Unsecured Wi-Fi. Check the auto-discovery settings is turned off in Singapore

  • Tapping into an unsecured Wi-Fi network is a crime

  • almost akin to hacking. Ten. Don't tip. In Singapore

  • tipping is not a standard practice so no need to leave some extra coins for your waiter.

  • Fifteen. Don't finger point. In Singapore pointing an index finger at someone is perceived as rude.
