The first thing is to immerse yourself into the language.

Linguistic modes include spoken language, written language, sign language and computer programming language and other language modes.

語言模式包含口語、書面語、手語、電腦程式語言等等各種語言模式。

Enormous resources online like vlogs, podcasts, fumes provide chances for you to expose yourself to the spoken language.

網路上有超多資源，像是 Vlogs、Podcast、迷因，都提供了讓你接觸口語的機會。

But articles in our textbooks or the Economist are written language.

但課本上的文章或是《經濟學人》雜誌，就是書面語。

In your past learning experience, you may mainly focus on the letter ones so it is easy for you to reading comprehension but hard to really internalize it and utilize it when you are talking.

在你過去的學習經驗裡，你可能主要專注在書面語，所以閱讀理解沒問題，但要真正內化並在口說時運用出來，就會有點困難。

So listen more and stimulate the speaker like and let your brain get used to the rhythms, inflections and pronunciations.

Whether you choose to have dialogue lessons with native speakers online, for example like Italki platform or you have a language partner already who exchange language with you, including ChatGPT.

What aspect of sports would you like to discuss?

Remember to set a certain topic for your conversation beforehand or you may stagnate in a rut and practice my hobby.

You can choose debate topics and each one of you pick a side.

You can get more access to these topics from websites like this one to expand your perspective.

If you find yourself in solitary practice, try to make impromptu speeches on some topics.

Impromptu speech can actively engage your knowledge.

And don't forget to place a camera in front of you to add a little bit pressure.

So that's the three steps for you to advance your oral English.

First, immerse yourself in the language environment as much as possible.
