Introduction
Hey, VoiceTube people! It’s Wen here.
Now, let’s play a game. We’ll call it “What’s in your baggage?". Uh, no, not that one, that one sitting on your shoulders, your emotional baggage. I’ll start by shaking out the contents of mine. Here, my trust issues, low-key paranoia, and yeah, a certain amount of shame for...reasons that I’m not sure I understand?
In case you were wondering: Yes, I like psycho-analyzing myself, for better or worse. I know some people hate talking about their emotional baggage, but that’s not the case with me. My reasoning is that I like going into relationships with people knowing as much about who I am as possible. ‘Cause see, my baggage and I, we’re a package deal. If you want to hang with me, you’ll have to stick around my baggage, too. And I like giving people the option of walking into situations with their eyes wide open.
But that’s just me, it doesn’t have to be you. This is just me talking after all my past experiences compiled and the multiple emo songs and films that have gotten into my head over the years. You’ll see what I’m talking about at the end of today’s bit.
So, back to business, there’s this video “What’s in my baggage”, it’s a satirical take on what people might have in their emotional baggage. Heads up: It drips with sarcasm, which I bet you’ll notice in our sentence of the day:

Outro
Thanks for joining me today, folks! Now, if you’re ever in that emo mood and need music that really speaks to it, here are some song recommendations for you:
First, we have a single, All My Friends Are Fake by Tate McRae, the title of which is pretty self-explanatory...
Next up, it’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go, an album by Billie Eilish. It has its charms; sports a very devious aesthetic, you’ll see. This one was created on the basis of depression...just wanted to put that there as a trigger warning.
If you’re having any problems with your mental health, please know that you’re not alone and there are people out there, friends and family and therapists, to help you. Bottom line: Don’t be afraid of seeking assistance if needed.
And that’s the note I’ve decided to end on! Don’t forget to leave your recordings and talk about experiences you’d like to share below. Until next time, everyone!

*Emo情緒化的
When used as an adjective, emo generally refers to an individual who is either over-emotional or tends to exaggerate situations. For example, you may call someone emo for crying over something that really doesn't merit crying. However, it is good to use the word withcaution because it generally carries a negative connotation.
Girl: Nobody loves me, my friends aren't really my friends, nobody cares about me, I'm all alone, I'm always so caring of other people and no one cares about me, I'm so selfless!!!!....etc.
Me:.....GOD DAMN, YOU ARE EMO!
