We all heard news report about how difficult life can be in North Korea.

But many of us have never really paid close attention to this issue because it seems so distant from us(看起來這對我們太遙遠).

The first time I really pay attention to the issue is when I heard, I believe her name is Hyeonseo Lee Ted Talks my escape from North Korea.

Also, in the case of North Korea, I think our bounds and empathy as human beings transcend far beyond （遠遠超越）borders and politics.

Knowing international news and just staying aware is a critical step towards making a difference in your own life, in your own community, in our own society.
