☺Every irritating fault in another person has a long history behind it. They have become like this because of flaws in their development, which they did not choose for themselves. They were shaped by troubles—troubles which we cannot see but which we know must exist.
別人身上每個會惹怒我們的缺點背後其實都有一段很長的歷史。他們之所以會變成現在這個樣子是因為：這些缺點是在他們的成長過程中不知不覺地形成，而不是他們自己主動去養成的。這些缺點源自於某些問題，我們雖然無法看見是哪些問題，但卻能知道問題是存在的。
【心得】就像影片中所說的"我們要學著寬恕人，因為我們也需要被寬恕"，無須因為某個人的缺點去妖魔化他，也不用因為某個人的優點去神化他，因為每個人身上本來就混合著優點和缺點。

Irritating/Bothersome∣

That car alarm is very annoying. That just means that you don’t like the sound of it. That’s kind of bothering you, disturbing you.∣

Obnoxious basically just means really really annoying or really really irritating. So you can say it about a person or about an event or about a sound or just about anything. So if you find a particular person for example, very very annoying, you can say I find her obnoxious, just means she’s so so annoying (that) you just can’t stand her.∣

There was a major flaw in his plan, which just essentially means that that was a major problem with his plan.∣

And flaw can also be referring to something visual, so for example, maybe a sculpture or some other piece of art. And there’s a flaw in it means that there’s something wrong with it, there’s kind of minor…um…maybe something that isn’t supposed to be there, maybe a piece of break-up or part of it got stained or ruined or somehow it’s flawed.∣

There’s some imperfection on it means that there’s some marks or some scratches that kind of thing.∣

Blemish is typically more used for the visual thing, so for example, someone’s skin. You have a blemish on your skin just means part of your skin has a different color that kind of thing or like a small mark.∣

Something is shaped by something. For example, our ideas are shaped by the environments in which we live or you can say this idea shapes the way we think. And the next word, influence, has a very similar meaning. You could say these ideas are influenced by the environments in which we live. (But “shape” has a stronger impact. “Influence” has some effects but doesn’t completely change it. )∣

Shaped by troubles—troubles which we cannot see but which we know must exist. So this trouble they are talking about maybe some difficult events that happened in these people’s lives or some hard memories or maybe you know just...some times of their lives are quite difficult.∣

Someone has had many hardships in their life means that they have many difficult times and they endure many difficult things…that hardship is sort of bad memories and something that was difficult to get through.∣
