- One of the most important places to visit when you're in Japan is actually Hakone Shrine because it actually has one of the most beautiful torii gates in the entire country it sits at the foot of Lake Ashi and if you walk up to the main area which I'm standing in right now you're just kind of in the middle of the woods and it's very serene and beautiful and because it's just rained it feels even more mystical and I'm going to go purify myself by washing my hands and just show you how the Japanese people do it here but it's really cool to be out here and I haven't been here very many times so really happy to check it out well this is it the most famous torii gate in Japan and as you can see brings in all the people so if you do want to get your own photo here make sure to give yourself enough time to line up but yeah it's so beautiful like the red and the way it just like it's so bright and reflects really really awesome and honestly that's the best thing I've seen in Japan
