creamy descent into matcha paradise i thought it was going to be like super super bitter with all of the different matcha in here but it's not so bitter like more on the sweeter side maybe the cookie crumbles jelly just kind of like softened the overall matcha taste very very refreshing drink cookie crumbles adds a whole new texture to this whole entire drink and then you got yuzu in here so you escalator you can enjoy the architecture from inside as well so what's nice about this place is that they also have some shopping you can do so it's kind of like a one-stop shop they have apparel, fragrance, a bookstore, home, kitchenware basically if you're into shopping you might want to etch out a few hours in your schedule to spend some more time here omagoyaki with this it even comes with a geta and if you want to take a coffee break there are many cafes as well on the third floor of tower plaza you'll find nicer restaurants and bars this place has yakitori, seafood italian, balcony by six, a thai bistro and the list goes on but today i'm taking you to yoroniku an all-private room yakiniku restaurant that originated in ninami aoyama so i can get my meat on look at this place this is amazing we have this view overlooking the garden there's so many things to do here and i had to take you guys to you know one really nice place if you're looking to take that special one or those special people i love wagyu i love yakiniku so we're already in the right place at a typical japanese yakiniku restaurant the raw meat is served to customers which they cook on their own but here the staff cook it for you to perfection it's like an omakase wagyu beef course you don't need to think you just need to enjoy the meat the course started with appetizers this one was beef tartare this is their yuke so it's like mixed in with egg little onions in here sesame seed and then they have their sauce just smells so good oh wow that's actually sweeter than i would have had anticipated the meat is really fresh even though it's like raw like it's so much flavor in there i think the sauce that they use is quite exquisite the toast is like it's super crispy just grilled it right on top right here this is their premium beef tongue you can eat it as is apparently or you can add a little bit of lemon to give it that citrus look at it just glistening there's a lot of flavor in that that's perfectly cooked you got a lot of that tenderness since it's a tongue you get that playful texture to it the course followed with an elegant marbled extremely tender harami thinly sliced rump loin with just a touch of flame and then a chateaubriand a premium cut from the center of the tenderloin which is slowly cooked whoa that is so tender and the silk loin wrapped rice just melted in my mouth also i couldn't have enough of their sukiyaki an exceptionally premium version topped with heaps of black truffles the truffle which adds an amazing accent to the entire dish and pairs perfectly with a raw egg grab a little bit of extra truffle in there get some of the truffle shavings there's a lot of truffle in there wow that's really strong because that truffle taste that's like undeniable and not to waste any of the truffle sauce goodness this chef adds rice to the bowl to help you savor all of the flavors to finish this memorable course i had the cold noodles and an unbeatable shaved ice so this spot behind me has japanese cheesecakes which are a little bit different let me show you inside mr cheesecake is a dessert shop that specializes in well cheesecakes made by a japanese chef with experience at a michelin restaurant in france rumor has it though it may not be around after the end of september but maybe they'll reconsider after this video their cheesecakes consist of two layers a baked cheesecake on top and a rare cheesecake on the bottom you can enjoy the richness and the cheesiness of the baked part alone or you can mix the two layers for a creamy heaven surprise got them cheesecake hitters all right so here we go we got mr cheesecake's special caramel they have six different flavors they have a classic caramel green tea strawberry lemon pumpkin and i think they also have tiramisu you can actually get this which is a petite or you can get like the loaf size i love how it comes in this little glass container i can smell the goodness and see it's like pretty consistent we know it's thick here we go that is so rich i love the caramel taste it has a nice lemony freshness to it so this caramel cheesecake uses a red sugar and butter to get that flavor just to pop it even has some bui gan cha which is a chinese tea wow it just produces such a unique flavor for cheesecake it's so creamy it's so thick it's almost like eating peanut butter what's interesting is as you get deeper and deeper it gets like creamier and creamier and there you go let me take you to the next spot okay so we made it to team lab borderless here and this part i wanted to bring wolfie along because he's never done this before and you know he's gonna love it so let's go now wolfie you ready to go inside last but not least y'all know i had to include this spot the team lab borderless museum i've actually featured it before in previous videos but that was when it was in Odaiba gotta say even after going a few times in the past the dynamic museum never disappoints with its more than 50 pieces of digital art some of the rooms i remember but there's also new rooms at this location so it made it even more fun to explore the whole experience is difficult to describe and hard to capture on camera but it's definitely a must visit if you've never done anything like this before look at this place it is truly amazing if you touch the birds it explodes let's go get it it's quite breathtaking how you're able to interact with the rooms and how fluid the whole exploration is and each spot is forever changing and morphing into something new what made this time even more special is that i could experience it with my son for the first time and at four years old he loved it some rooms though were a little too dark for him so worth keeping in mind if you're one of those kids at the end there's a sketch factory where you can color various fish and have them come to life in an ocean-like room ah there's Mopi's sea anemone and that's my fish you can also turn your own art into items like a t-shirt or a bag to take home with you it was pretty easy all done through an app and the pickup shop was a short walk just outside of the museum what an amazing experience all of this was wow i got a fish all of this was wow i got my palo from tokyo team lab shirt and look Mopi got his too all right so that's a full tour of asabudai hills if
