What’s up, VoiceTubers? Leila here. Y’know, nowadays it seems like everybody watches YouTube instead of TV. You might’ve even heard people say they wanna be YouTubers and make that sweet YouTube money. How does one even do that? Check out today’s video, if you haven’t already. It’s like a mini- lesson, like YouTube Money 101, or maybe like YouTube For Dummies. Oh, no, wait, that’s a whole book. Well, anyway, today’s video will get you started on the topic.

So, I’m still kinda stumped. How exactly does one make money on YouTube videos? I mean, how can you know for sure that your videos will attract enough viewers that you’ll be able to start making money? Some YouTubers seem to get lucky, be in the right place at the right time, or hit it big when one of their videos goes viral, but I’m pretty sure that for most creators on YouTube, it’s like anything else in the world: It takes hours and hours of work, dedication and consistency.

I think it also takes courage. It’s easy to think, “Why should I make YouTube videos?” Who’s gonna wanna watch me fold clothes in my weird, ninja-like way? Who would watch me demonstrate a neat trick for tying really long shoelaces? Why on Earth would anyone be interested in watching videos of traffic on the roads? It’s easier to just say, “Nah, no one would be interested in that” because then we won’t have to face any disappointment. Y’know, there’s a saying for that: “no pain, no gain”.
