We’re just below the level of famine(飢荒) which means people have no food whatsoever（不管怎樣）.

*Personally, I think coronavirus is an pandemic since it has been affecting many people’s lives all around the world. I can’t think of any severe situation resulting from the infection on such scale in my life at least.
