Today, we’re going to read about smart and hardworking attitude. It’s essential to English interview.
Sometimes, the first impression is the most important part of the job interview. So starting a job interview with a [wrong behavior can sabotage([ˋsæbə͵tɑʒ] 破壞) the process] before it begins. Showing a positive, confident attitude can be just as important and perhaps more important than work experience.

“Being smart and working hard can open up numerous doors. Unfortunately, having too much options can be as restricting as having few choices. An abundance of choices makes it difficult to decide what to do. As a result, it’s tempting to jump around and see what suits you.”

1. numerous [ˋnjumərəs] (adj.) 許多的；大量的
numerous為 number 的形容詞 = in great numbers = many
* They encountered numerous difficulties in conducting(實施) the experiment.
* He has numerous collections of the stamp.

2. option [ˋɑpʃən] (n.) 選擇；選擇權；選擇自由
Option means an acting of choosing.
* She had no option but to quit her job in order to take care of her children.
* It is at your option to stay or leave.
* What options do I have?
* How many options do we have?

3. restricting [riˈstrɪktɪŋ ] (adj.) 受限的
The noun form for restricting is restriction. And the verb form is restrict. It’s to confine with bound.
* Membership of the club is restricted to men only.
* His activities were restricted by old age.

4. abundant [əˋbʌndənt] (adj.) 大量的；充足的；豐富的；富裕的
= existing or occurring in a large amount = plenty of
* The country is abundant in natural resources.
* Labor(勞工) is more abundant than goods(商品).

5. jump around (phr.) 跳來跳去
* The horse jump over the ditch(壕溝).
* My heart jumped at the news.
