Much like a computer, your brain works best at a certain temperature, and tries to avoid "overheating". And it turns out yawning increases your heart rate, blood flow and the use of muscles in your face which are all essential to cooling the brain. On top of that, deeply inhaling cold air can alter the temperature of the blood in our head.
與電腦運作模式相似,大腦在特定溫度下才是最佳狀態,所以會盡量避免「過熱」的情況。而打哈欠能增加心跳速率、血流量,及臉部肌肉的使用,這些都是降低大腦溫度的必要條件。除此之外,大量吸入冷空氣能改變大腦中血液的溫度。

【心得】所以當我們發燒的時候,狂打哈欠外加對著冰箱冷凍庫狂吸冷空氣,應該就可以避免腦部燒壞了吧!?(但這樣做的話,我家人應該會覺得我已經燒到神智不清了:p)

我以前一位補習班老師,頭髮是灰白的。他曾經說過:「CPU(頭腦)有在燒,主機板(頭髮)也是會褪色的。」
看來他是overheating... 我也是 >_<

另外,謝謝大家無視我的魔音傳腦,講了很多違心之論...開始忙了,就暫時不唱歌騷擾大家了...XDDD

Hi guys, welcome to today's pronunciation challenge and my name is Kristi. So, today we have a video from Asapscience and it's called, "Why Do We Yawn?" And a lot of times we yawn because we think we're tired but this video tells us otherwise. So, let's take a look at today's sentence.
