每日口說挑戰思考的方式 (CARL SAGAN - A Way of Thinking)

好久不見 我這週一人交完期中作業跑到北歐來度假 今天在挪威的峽灣小木屋錄音感覺好奇妙 因為一直有回音的感覺 可能是周圍太安靜了 ：）

今天起來喉嚨特別的卡(講兩三句就會岔音)，每錄一次都很怕講到一變突然走音。
這個周末我想大家都要回家慶祝母親節，所以在明天正式母親節到來前先來分享幾個可以派上用場的字。第一個母親節快樂我想對大家來說並不陌生 "Happy Mother's Day" 。第二個康乃馨 "Carnation" 。最後是一個句子 我很感激您 " I really appreciate you." 雖然並不是甚麼太困難的單字(或許其實大家早就都會了)，分享給大家^^

4-1.grab (匆忙之間伸手抓住之意)
# up for grabs (有開放 允許之意)
# grab and go (例如在超市: 買了就可外帶)
4-2. grip(緊握)
# get a grip (1.穩穩抓住 2.振作點!)
4-3. grasp (較不匆忙 力量較大的抓，可形容抽象事物)
e.g. I can not grasp your main idea.
e.g. grasp an opportunity
6-1. He is very religious.(他非常虔誠)

大家早 我彙整一下主持人Kristi在發音上有特別提到的單字重音與輕音用法分享給大家 參考看看有空也可以練習一下發音會讓句子唸起來更順,我自己也還在練習

1.Skeptical 重音在前面 e是發微笑嘴型的e的音(大家可以試著練習微笑來發音)

2.Skepticism 重音在前面 ti發ㄜ的短音 ci發"細"(中文)的音

3.political重音在li po是發短音ㄜ的音

4.politician重音在ti的地方 po是發"阿"(中文)的音

5.politics重音是在前面po是發"阿"(中文)的音

根據《新牛津英漢雙解大詞典》第二版，" up for grabs " 這個詞的其中一個中文釋義是：「可利用的」。覺得這個釋義會更加貼切上面引文的真正含意: 容易被有政治或宗教野心的偽善人士利用。
