and four years since we've seen the last episode of the series.

So let's take a look at what the cast

has been up to since then.

Can you guys belive it's been four years

since the phrase XOXO has been in our weekly vocabulary

thanks to gossip girl.

I can't either and I don't know about you

but I'm missing seeing the show's ridiculously good-looking cast

all together on a regular basis.

But even though they may not be working together on the show anymore

they've all moved on to great things.

First up who could forget everyone's favorite boy next door

Penn Badgley, who played Dan Humphrey on the show

Penn has been in a few movies sicen his days of being revealed as the gossip girl

but he's mostly been focusing on his band Mother

But he has done a couple of indie movies this year

such as Macaulay Culkin and Adam Green's Aladdin

and a romantic drama the Paper Store.

Up next is another insanely attractive man from the gossip girl world

It's Chase Crowford who played the hunky and sensitive Nate Archibald.

Chase was one of the leads on ABC show Blood and Oil las year

but the show was cancelled after just ten episodes

but don't worry

we could always see Chases's gorgeous base in the baseball dramedy undrafted this summer

and the horror film Eloise later this year.

You know I'm not usually into scary movies but for Chase

I think i'll make an exception

and moving on to the bad boy who eventually showed a secret heart of gold on the show

and proved to be Blair's one true love in the process

it's Ed Westwick AKA Chuck Bass

Like Chase, Westwick also had an ABC show last year called Wicked City

which was also cancelled.

Hopefully Ed will have better luck with the movies he has coming out

including one thriller called Takedown and another called Jekyll Island.

Hopefully he has to play the bad guy in both because he's very good at that.

Next up we've got Taylor Momsen who played Dan's sister Jenny Humphrey

and of all actors on this list, Taylor might have the biggest transformation so far.

Taylor, like her former fictional bro Penn, has put her acting career on the back burner

to focus on her music with her band the Pretty Reckless.

The band released two albums since 2010 and is currently working on new music.

Taylor had some controversial moments since exiting gossip girl.

and she's opted for a way gothic look these days

but she seems to be staying out of the limelight for now and putting all of her energy into her work.

Probably a smart choice.

Next up is the lovely Jessica Szohr AKA the cool girl next door of gossip girl Vanessa Abrams.

Jessica has done movies as well as TV since her GG days appearing in films like Ted2

and shows like Medical Dramas Complications on USA and MMA inspired drama Kingdom

on the audience network.

She will also have a role in the upcoming reboot of Twin Peaks.

Next up is the adorable little bro turned bona fide Hollywood hunk Connor Paolo

who started asSyrena's brother Eric Vander Woodsen on the show.

Connor left gossip girl and joined the ABC drama Revenge in 2011

where he starts as Declan Porter for two seasons.

He also had a guest starring role on the TV show Rush Hour and he had a role in the indie horror film Like Lambs.

Next up is Leighton Meester who played everyone's favorite Queen B

of the upper east side on gossip girl, Blair Waldorf.

Leighton recently got married to the Oasys Adam Brody in 2014

who she probably fell in love with after they bonded over being former teen icons, right?

A couple gave birth to a daughter named Arlo last year but her love and marriage and baby hiatus

will be coming to an end this year as she set to co-star with Adam Bailey

and foxes upcoming time-traveling comedy Making History

Wow, I cannot wait to see Blair be funny

I almost can't even imagine it.

And last but never ever least is the actress who played the true heart of Gossip Girl

It's Blake Lively, AKA Serena Vander Woodsen forever in our hearts

Blake made her move from TV to movies with the drama Age of Adeline

and this summer shark attck thriller the Shallows.

She also started a lifestyle websitecalled Preserve but she shut it down in 2015

Blake is of course married to Deadpool himself Mr. Ryan Reynolds

the couple has one daughter named James and recently announced

that they have another baby on the way.

All in all, it's safe to say Serena definitely got her happily ever after with the man of her dreams

at least in real life.
