https://tw.voicetube.com/videos/70971/31281464

What’s up, VoiceTuber! My name is Ingrid and you’re listening to today’s pronunciation challenge. Today, we have an interesting topic. One that I think it’s worth thinking about. And that is manipulation, being used by somebody. According to the video today, below are the ten signs that you might be manipulated by someone in your life and you might need to think about it and take action if it’s happening to you right now.

Number one, they constantly make you prove yourself.
Two, they communicate passive-aggressively.
Three, they gaslight you.
Four, they're always just joking.
Five, they play the victim card.
Six, they kill you with kindness.
Eight, they emphasize their calm, cool, and collected side.
Nine, they use emotional blackmail.
Ten, they take advantage of your trusting and sensitive nature.

So here’s something interesting; after listing it out, I realized I’m not manipulated by anyone at the moment. But, I’ve been manipulating people unconsciously in the past out of being needy or immature. So it’s not just important to identify the abuser in your relationship but also reflect on yourself. Hopefully, we can recognize what’s wrong in our relationships and make some changes. Go watch the video if you want to know more about it! But before that, let’s practice today’s sentence.

This leaves you in a highly uncomfortable and unfair position, where you feel obligated to stay against your own will.
