But for most of us, those who stay(v.停留) are the ones that really matter(v.要緊). Today’s video talks about the people who loved us from the very beginning and thanks to them, we get to live and breathe(/briːð/呼吸v.) till this day. Take a look at today’s sentence.

1.1 boring /ˈbɔː.rɪŋ/ adj. (某事物)煩人的;乏味的;無聊的
He might be a boring person to hang around with, but he’s got a good heart(好心腸).

■ hang around with sb (phr.) 與(某人)廝混
=hang about with sb = hang round with sb
I got into drugs because I was hanging around with the wrong people.
我染上了毒癮,這是因爲我與不好的傢夥混在一起。

boring 的synonyms(同義詞) : dull /dʌl/, unexciting, etc.

antonyms(/ˈæn.t̬ən.ɪm/反義詞n.) :

3.1 spend /spend/ v. 花費;用,花(錢)= to give money as a payment for something

“spend money”(花錢) instead of(而不是) “use money”
I’m so spent = I’m so tired
