In this day and age(現在), the best we can do is cozy at a warm blanket and watch a video about Finland. Anyway, I don’t know about you guys, but not being able to travel actually brings back a lot of memories. One of my best travel stories was in Finland. I was fortunate enough to visit there in 2017, and I chose a volunteer program in a small town called [Inga]. The task was to restore(v.修復) a circus wagon. There were eight of us from six different countries, and every day we cut grass, chopped wood and [scraped(v.刮除) off all the paint]. Life was simpler back then. We got coffee breaks every two hours [and finished work at 4(pm)]. The sun came down at eleven p.m. So we had plenty of time to hang out and explore. The beach, the forest and the swamp that I almost fell into. Every night, we bought beers in long drinks, and sat around the bonfire(篝火) listening to [Bob Marley]. That journey and tranquillity(n.[træŋˋkwɪlətɪ]安寧) I felt were something I had never experienced before. And it was the first time I realized how impactful a trip it can be. I want to be back there when this pandemic is over, and visit some other places. Today’s sentence of the day actually gives me a good idea.

2-2 adventure [ədˋvɛntʃɚ ] (n.)冒險，奇遇 It means an unusual, exciting, and possibly dangerous activity. *Would you like to join me on this adventure?

2-3 venture [ˋvɛntʃɚ] (n.)(有風險的)商業行為，投機活動 If venture is a noun, it actually has a different meaning: A new activity, usually in business, that involves risk or uncertainty. *She advised us to look abroad(adv. [əˋbrɔd] 到國外) for a more lucrative(a. [ˋlukrətɪv] 賺錢的) business ventutres.

3-1 unconventional [͵ʌnkənˋvɛnʃənəl] (adj.)不同尋常的 This word means something is different from what is usual, or from the way most people do things. *Billy's unconventional outfit make him stand out(顯眼的) in the crowd.

3-2 conventional [kənˋvɛnʃənəl ] (adj.)傳統的;普通的 The opposite of unconventional is conventional. So it means traditional and ordinary. *He is not a conventional person at all.

現在出去玩都要帶他們兩個，都盡量當天來回，在外住一晚就極限了…
