■package [ˈpækɪdʒ] 一(整)套；包(裹)[(+of)]；包裝箱/盒/袋；一組(相關連的)事物；一小包
把…打包或裝箱；包裝[(+up)]；打包銷售；對…進行包裝；修飾…的外表

In today’s sentence is gonna tell you what kind of services in Taiwan 7-11 may surprise foreigners. Let’s go! ‘You can buy wholesome meals, pay your college tuition, and even send and receive packages.’

1. wholesome [ˋholsəm] (adj.)有益的；有益健康的= healthy 
It’s an adjective and the meaning is good for you, and likely to improve your life either physically, morally, or emotionally. So the synonym([ˋsɪnə͵nɪm]n.同義詞) is healthy.
*You should eat more wholesome/healthy foods like fruit and vegetables, otherwise(否則) you’ll get fatter and fatter.
In this sentence, you can replace wholesome with healthy. And the meaning is totally the same.

2. tuition [tjuˋɪʃən ] (n.)學費
It’s a noun, and the meaning is the money paid for this type of teaching. So it can be the tuition of high school/ college/ piano class/ English class.
*It is unreasonable for colleges to keep raising tuition in recent years.
Reasonable means fair or practical. If you wanna say not fair or not practical, just add the negative prefix(字首), which are ‘un’ or ‘in’ or ‘im’ and etc. And here is ‘unreasonable’, which means not fair.

3. package [ˋpækɪdʒ ] (n.)包裹= parcel [ˋpɑrs!]
It’s a noun, and it is an object or set of objects wrapped in paper, usually in order to be sent by post.
*Can you sign the package for me? ‘Cause I won’t be home tomorrow.

Alright guys, that’s it. Personally I think convenience stores in Taiwan are really convenient, yeah of course. But I also like those in Japan ‘cause their food is really delicious.
