中英版筆記：Have you ever worn contact lenses? I’m sure most of you have worn them before. I’ve never worn contact lenses in my life. Before you get jealous, it’s not because I had perfect vision and I don’t need them. No, It’s quite the opposite actually. I was born with amblyopia([͵æmblɪˋopɪə]弱視). My parents found out that I was basically blind when they took me to the zoo when I was a baby. They pointed at cute animals for me to see and I had no reactions. They thought I was either stupid or that I couldn’t see. Don’t know which one is better. It turned out I couldn’t really see.
Long story short, I started wearing glasses when I was 3 years old. I had to wear those thick glasses which make me look different than any of my classmates. In my free time, I would have to train my eyes. As the training went on, my eyes got a lot better. I finally got to ditch my glasses when I went to college.
I guess what I’m saying is that your eyes are really important so we should talk care of them. If you already have bad eyesight and you need to wear contacts, this video today is for you. Before you go watch at video though, let’s practice today’s sentence.

以前我超級討厭戴眼鏡，所以高中開始戴隱形眼鏡，結果我的體質是戴隱形眼鏡會過敏那種，一直到了大三終於存夠錢我才去做近視雷射。
我到現在都還覺得這是我人生做過最好的選擇之一。
