Actually, lies are part of our daily lives. Recent study conducted by university of Massachusetts shows that 60% of people lie at least once in a 10-minute conversation, within average of telling 2 to 3 lies. We live by lies and we’re all liars by nature. But it seems to be more unacceptable [after] liars happen to be a President of a nation, or simply, politicians. In this video, several examples were mentioned. US President like Nixon, Obama, Clinton, and Trump have all been called liars throughout history. However, the video tries to overthrow(推翻) the simple [label] of being liar by clarifying the difference between a lie, a mistake, and nonsense.
1-1. quickly (adv.) 迅速地 = fast = at the speed of light * You may make it on time if you walk quickly. * He ran at the speed of light in the competition and got the first place as expected.
