…it’s Monday and the start of new semester (學期) for college students. I’m a bit ashamed to say that I haven’t been reading for the last 3 years, especially since I got a smartphone. I feel like I spend too much time on the Internet. Maybe it’s time for a change. The other day. I stumbled upon (偶然發現) a video on VoiceTube that I thought it’ll be helpful for me or anyone with the same problem. And that video happens to today’s video, titled “How to read a book a week - 3 proven(已證明的) tricks”. The video teaches us 3 ways to get ourselves to start reading again. And without further ado[廢話不多說], let’s jump right into our sentence of the day.

guarantee (v.) 保證；擔保；保障
*The 3-month course guarantees a noticeable (顯著的) improvement in your English skills.

guarantee (n.) 保固

advantage (n.) 有利因素；優勢；好處

So you should set the deadline on when to finish a certain chapter or subsection (小節), and then reward yourself after you’ve done it.
Hopefully, you can [pick up the habit of reading and have it become]something you do on regular basis.

最近多是看攝影工具書，想要學點拍片、剪片、前製、後製、特效、配樂技巧。^^

我覺得不需要ㄧ個星期急著看完一本書耶～
我喜歡細細品味。不急。
享受閱讀的樂趣。

這幾年我比較少買書，都去圖書館借，有還書期限，所以雖然我都慢慢看，但是也不能太慢，會被罰，呵呵。
