If you want to be a ninja at getting things done, you need a system.

I have to admit I sometimes get sidetracked(我有是被其它事耽擱了）.

*I was sidetracked by some old photos.我被ㄧ些舊照片吸引住。

You might also procrastinate when the project looks very difficult.

*I might also procrastinate a bit in the morning when the pronunciation challenge looks rather long and difficult...

I’ll beak it down in steps （解析步驟）and do research and finish the project one step at a time(ㄧ次ㄧ個步驟完成項目).

I’ll plan with a team and collaborate with (與⋯合作) the team to achieve our common goals.

So I think planing determination and collaboration are the keys to success.

Break a project into tiny or small steps.將計劃細分步驟

A zero conditional 零條件句。Both clauses you use simply present and you use it to describe something will happen for certain. 用來承述事實的狀況、科學現象。

Sure your goal can change down the road (ㄧ路上你當然能改變目標）when you are doing research but at least have a clear idea of what you want to achieve.

I usually pick goals that make a greatest use of my strong points.

*make use of 使用;藉由

*I always make use of the time in the early morning to practice pronunciation challenge.

Having diverse knowledge (不同的知識)in multiple domains(多元的領域) is necessary for our work today.

Happening, done or chosen by chance(隨機/任意的）.

We asked a random sample/ selection of people what they thought.

Contestants (參賽者）will be chosen at random (隨機地)from the audience.

The Romes were overwhelmed (被武力擊敗）by the opposing army.

He was overwhelmed (情緒激動) with happiness/grief(悲痛）/sadness.

*I was overwhelmed by the yoga class last week. It was a bit challenging and wasn’t thought to be basic for most of the students though.

We’ve got to be more systematic(我們應該更有條理的） in the way that we approach (著手處理)the task.

We hear reports of the systematic torture of prisoners.我們聽到有報導提及囚犯受到系統性的折磨。

Brainstorm solutions / ideas 腦力激盪解決的方案/想法

The team got together to brainstorm the project.

She gave us a series of lectures last year on British lectures.她去年舉行ㄧ系列的英國講座

People often procrastinate when it comes to paperwork(當有關於文書工作時）.

【心得】我也是會把待辦事情寫在一本小記事本，做完就劃掉，然後再搭配桌曆、手機的鬧鐘和Todoist app 來提醒自己近期和未來時間要做的事情。即便這樣有時候還是會落掉該做的事，但是至少比靠我的腦袋瓜子記可靠多了。希望最好能夠有那種事先自錄"口語提醒"的程式，有點類似秘書的功能，可以在設定的日期時間，提醒我要做什麼事。(去google發現有一個叫"秘書幫幫忙"的app，但是它要繳月費，費用是我每月的手機話費的數倍> <，我生意沒做那麼大!:p)

How To Get Things Done

If you want to be a ninija at getting things done,you need a system.{Here are some tips.}

* random：happening, done, or chosen by chance rather than according to a plan
- random checks/tests/attacks.
>>>We asked a random sample/selection of people what they thought.
* at random：without definite aim purpose on method
- Contestants were chosen at random from the audience.

* overwhelm：
(1).to defeat someone or something by using a lot of force
- Government troops have overwhelmed the rebels and seized control of the capital.
>>>The Romes were overwhelmed by the opposing army.
(2).to cause someone to feel sudden strong emotion
>>>He was overwhelmed with happiness/grief/sadness.
- They were overwhelmed with/by grief when their baby died.
- I was overwhelmed by all the flowers and letters of support I received.

* systematic：according to an agreed set of methods or organized plan
>>>We've got to be more systematic in the way that we approach this task.
- We're hearing reports of the systematic rape and torture of prisoners.

* brainstorm：(of a group of people) to suggest a lot of ideas for a future activity very quickly before considering some of them more carefully
>>>brainstorm solutions/ideas
- The team got together to brainstorm (the project).

* series：a number of similar or related events or things, one following another
>>>She gave a series of lectures on British literature.
- There has been a series of sexual attacks on women in the area.

* procrastination：the act of delaying something that must be done, often because it is unpleasant or boring
>>>People always procrastinate when it comes to paper work.
- This is no time for procrastination - we need decisive action.

I have to admit sometimes i get sidetracked because there are so many distraction.

We might also procrastinate when a project looks very difficult.

For me, i would always write down what i want to do. I would break it down in steps do research and trying to finish the project once step at a time.

If the project is too big for just one person, i would find a team, plan with team and collaborate with the team to achieve the common goal.
