身為韓裔美國人，絕對是影響到了我跟我父母之間的關係。因為所遇到的種種溝通不良狀況，造成了很多的無力感和憤怒情緒。
【心得】講者父母雖然也是在美國待了很久，但說起英語還是會覺得無法完全表達自如吧! 看來如果不是母語，又沒有密集且大量的使用與接觸就真的還是不容易能夠運用/溝通自如。這麼一想，我如果無法用英文表達自如也是很合理的事，不用因此覺得挫敗，畢竟每天生活中確實沒有大量的使用和接觸。無論如何，還是要持續練英文，防痴呆。

You can use “absolutely” to stress our point or use it as a way of saying “yes” strongly.

When the principal walked into, there was an absolute /a complete/total silence in the classroom.

Ali tried to talk problem out(discuss thoroughly in order to settle it) with Alexandra but this only led to more frustrations.

My slow computer frustrates me.

To annoy means to “disturb” or to “irritate”.

His loud chewing really annoyed me.(the repetitive act really is annoying.)

To avoid miscommunication, we hire an interpreter(口譯員).

You guys should talk things over. It was just a misunderstanding.
