And then there are others, for who no amount of achievement, prestige and financial security ever seems to do the trick. They anxiously chastise and critic themselves. Always feeling they've underperformed, never quite trusting that they really deserved to exist.
for who= for these people
no amount of 即使再大的/再多的......也不...
ever seem 似乎
do the trick 管用/達到目的/成功
anxiously adv.
that they really deserved to exist 整句為名詞片語當trusting 的受詞

【chastise/tʃæsˈtaɪz/(vt.)嚴厲批評】【critique [krɪˈtik](n&vt.)評論】And then there are others, for whom no amount of achievement, prestige and financial security ever seems to do the trick. They anxiously chastise and critique themselves. Always feeling they've underperformed, never quite trusting that they really deserve to exist.

The environment will influence our character. The family and the school society impact it more, but we can't change the past. We need to trust ourselves and do the a little thing. And then we can build the confidence that can help us set the big goal. When we complete it, we can get the sense of achievement and more confident.
