And that is one thing that makes me really proud of myself.

I face lots of challenges in my career.

There is a lot of uncertainty in my daily work.

我每天的工作都有許多不確定性

And every now and then, I do have doubts about myself.

三不五時，我就會懷疑自我

I do question my decision-making.

我會質疑我自己的決定

Quite a lot!

還滿常的！

It's okay to have doubt.

自我懷疑是ok的

You see, the thing is, what really matters is--

重點是... 真正關鍵的是--

"How we deal with it"

"我們怎麼面對它(自我懷疑)"

So whenever I have doubt about myself, ...

每當我開始懷疑自己

I think of that time that I took that leap of faith.

我就會想到過去我曾經放手一博

Shifting into the media industry with no relevant experience or degree.

在沒有任何相關經驗或學歷之下，跳進了媒體產業

Wishing upon a shooting star, hoping that I'll have a positive voice in the world one day.

對著流星許願，祈求有一天我在這世上可以有些許正向的影響力

Literally, nobody believed in me.

說實話，沒有任何一個人相信我可以

Everybody thought I was out of my mind.

每個人都覺得我瘋了

But I dug in my heels.

但是我狠下心來

I worked my guts out.

我拼了命工作

I defied gravity, took off and luckily landed on my feet.

我突破困境，起飛並且幸運地安然度過

Whenever I think about it...

每當我想起這件事...

it gives me the confidence and strength to head on with what I've set out for.

就會給我無限的信心和力量，可以繼續向我的目的地邁進

In one way, if I hadn't persisted in doing so in the past..

一方面來講，如果我在過去沒有堅持錊下去

I would probably be wearing the same shirt and tie, sitting in the same office room, doing something that I'm probably not interested in.

我現在大概就會穿著一樣的襯衫和領帶，坐在同樣的辦公室，做著某件我八成不感興趣的事

Instead, now I am talking to you on screen, ...

然而，現在我可以在螢幕上對著你說話...

doing something I love, and hopefully making a positive impact in the world.

做著一件我喜愛的事，希望對這世界能夠帶來一點正面的影響

On the other hand, if I choose to give in now...

另一方面來講，如果我現在選擇放棄...

to let my doubts get the best of me...

選擇讓我的自我懷疑擊垮自己

then I am allowing my past to go to waste.

那麼我就是在允許我的過去白白浪費掉

The past is the foundation of the present.

過去是現在現實的基礎

Everything you are today was built on the things that you achieved yesterday.

你今天所有的成就都是建立在你昨日所達成的事上

And by recognizing the right things you've done in the past...

而認定你在過去所做對的事情...

you are acknowledging yourself today.

就是在認定今日的自己

And that is pivotal mentality for success

而這是成功的重要心態
