Hi, VoiceTubers. It's me again. How are you guys doing? Do you feel a bit nervous when your earphones aren’t in your bags or anywhere around you? Well then, you might be addicted to music. You may wonder, is it really possible for people to become addicted to music? It turns out that just like sex and drug, music can be addictive too. Our body will release a neurotransmitter in the brain called dopamine when we listen to music. The increase in this chemical creates a pleasurable feeling and thus makes people feel good. Wanna know more about why music is so addictive? Check out the video to learn the power of it!

And today’s sentence is…

to stay in the same place or in the same condition
停留,留下;保持不變,仍然是
Eg. It will always remain a secret if nobody talks about the incident.
如果沒人談論那個事件,那將永遠是個秘密。

2. alter (v.) [ˋɔltɚ] /ˈɑːl.tɚ/

Alright, that's all for today's episode. What's the one thing you must carry with you when going out? Is it your wallet, your phone, or hand cream? For me, it's earphones. Wherever I go, I always bring my earphones with me. I listen to music so much; sometimes, I feel a bit anxious without music. But being addicted to music is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, research has found that music can reduce anxiety and stress, help relieve pain, and even improve sleep quality. Do you listen to music a lot? Or don't listen to music at all? Leave a comment to let us know your answer, and don't forget to record today's sentence! I'll see you next time.
