Hi, everyone. Tera here! Today we’re going to talk about…naps. I know some of you are getting excited. I mean, who doesn’t love to rest for a short while? Back on the topic, have you ever heard of "power nap" before? Just as the word, "power", which exists before "nap" reveals, a power nap, also known as a cap nap, is a short sleep which allows you to wake up feeling refreshed, energized, and alert. Check out the video to see what benefits a power nap offers. And, before we move on to discussing the tips that can set you up for a good nap, let’s first finish our daily mission together. Today’s featured sentence is…

Featured sentence: The midday nappers were better able to deal with frustration and were less impulsive than those who watched the documentary.

Tips:
1. frustration: three syllables with the stress on the second one. Notice that the "t" is the second syllable, "stra", here will change its sound a little bit like /dʒ/ since it follows a letter "s".
2. impulsive: three syllables with the stress on the second one as well. Remember to close your lips to pronounce the "m" sound. And also, the vowel of "pul" should be pronounced as /ʌ/, but not /ɑ/. So, we get, "im-pul-sive".
3. documentary: five syllables with the stress on the third one. This one is quite long, so I’d say it at a slower speed. "do-cu-men-ta-ry".

Let’s dive deeper to see what Mayo clinic, an extraordinary American academic medical center, says when it comes to the best way to take a nap. To get the most out of a nap, follow these tips. First, keep naps short. The best duration of time is between 10 to 20 minutes. If you nap too long, you’re likely to feel groggy. Second, take naps in the early afternoon. Same as what the video has mentioned, you could disrupt your regular nighttime sleep cycle when napping after 3 PM. Third, create a restful environment.
