We have all been there. Standing in a long queue, waiting for our turn to get stuff and get things done. It is the ultimate test of patience(對耐性的最終考驗）.

To me, waiting in line is definitely a tedious task(討厭的乏味的事/任務）.

Are you willing to endure a 2-hour-wait for just a taste of soufflé(舒芙蕾）？

I would get tempted(我會被受誘惑）.But I’m the kind of person who is just too lazy to wait in line.

Still, there are times when we just have to force ourselves to complete this queueing-up-mission, like the last time I was in a long queue that was waiting for vote and it took me 3 hours. No kidding.

That was really insane(那真的太瘋狂了）. And I literally roll my eyes a hundred times while waiting（在等待的時候我真的翻了ㄧ百次白眼）. But I guess that is something worth sacrificing for（但我想那是值得犧牲的事）.

Anyway, out of curiosity, what do you guys think when you are waiting in a long line?

I always think, why the hell do I have to come all the way to wait here in an queue?我ㄧ直想，我為何要大費周章趕來這裡等著排隊呢？

I try to count the number of people standing ahead of me.

Then calculating how much time it will take for me to reach the end of the queue.

And then, my mind might just start wondering(神遊）somewhere and everywhere for a while.

Or I’ll just take out my phone and start doing random phone scrolling(開始隨意滑手機）.
