The margay(虎貓）is a type of wildcats.

Bobcat （山貓；a wildcat has a short tail and lives in North American）often hunts rabbit or chicken.

Feral（野生和wild意義有些不同）: it means not domesticated. It was originally meant to be a pet, but has become wild.

When you say feral cat, you’re usually talking about a cat that looks should be a pet. They look small that we usually keep as a pet. But they are out in the wild, they are on their own. They were bred that we usually keep as a pet.

This bird is a threatened （almost endangered)species.

The giant panda is an endangered specie.(瀕臨絕種；A specie that has more serious threats. It’s likely to disappear very soon or at a pretty quick point in the future).

Dinosaurs are extinct(絕種的；dying out).

It means not allowed by law, so against the law.
The man was arrested because he had illegal drugs.
1.2 legal [ˋlig!] (adj.) 合法的
It means the opposite of illegal.
It means allowed by law
In most of Canadian, the legal drinking age is nineteen.
At nineteen years old, in most places in Canada, you can legally drink or the legal drinking age is nineteen.
2.1 wildcat [ˋwaɪld͵kæt] (n.)山貓
A wildcat is a wild animal from a cat family that is a small or medium size so in our video we talked about a wildcat called margay.
The margay is a type of wildcat.
2.2 bobcat [ˋbɑb͵kæt] (n.) 紅貓，短尾貓（一種北美野貓）
A bobcat is a kind of medium size wildcat that has a short tail and lives in North America.
Bobcats often hunt rabbits and chickens.
2.3 feral [ˋfɪrəl] (adj.) 野生的
It means not to domestic so basically, something that is not a pet.
In other words, it is wild. So you can say wild animals or feral animals.
But often when we talk about feral, we're talking about something that was originally domesticated
so originally meant to be a pet but has become wild.
When we say feral cats, we're usually talking about cats that look like they should be pets. So they are those small cats that we usually keep as pets.
but they are out in the wild so they have no owners their other own and that is when we call them feral cats.
So these are different from wildcats
because they are very small and they are breeds that we usually keep as pets.
3.1 threatened [ˋθrɛtnd] (adj.) 受到威脅的
it describes an animal or species that has uncertain chance of continued survival.
So there is a threat that might not survive and they could die out completely sometime in the future.
In our sentence, we say that wildcat that we are talking about is a near-threatened species and that would mean that species is not quite threated but it's almost threatened.
That see some threat there, it could have some danger of disappearing eventually.
This bird is a threatened species.
3.2 endangered [ɪnˋdendʒɚd] (adj.) 瀕臨絕種的
An endangered species would be a species that has more serious threat than a threatened species. It's likely to disappear very soon or at a pretty quick point in the future.
The Giant Panda is an endangered species.
3.3 extinct [ɪkˋstɪŋkt] (adj.) 絕種的
That has to do animals and it describes animals that no longer exist.
So if animals with threat and it became endangered and then it became extinct.
that would mean that it went from being just threatened to actually die out.
So actually none of these animals left. The species has become extinct.
Dinosaurs are extinct.
