Hi, and welcome back to Hair With Hollie. I am Hollie and today we are going to be doing

a Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl look. We are going to start off with two looks. First

of all, a nice dry and style kind of nice relaxed and curly. And then we are going to

pop this back into quite a new look and style.

So we'll start with a dry and style. So I'm just going to run the curling iron through

the hair to get a nice gentle bit of movement in.

So start by parting your hair in the center. The grab some mousse and comb it through the

length of the hair to give it a bit of grip before we start to curl.

So start curling at the front of the hair always working away from the face to get a

nice big bouncy curl. So then you just repeat this all over the hair until all the hair

has been curled.

So now that we have all the hair curled,what I am going to do is just brush through it

lightly and the break up the curls gently using your fingers.

So if you would like to add a bit of volume to this look you backcomb sections of the

hair at the top of the crown. So take about a three inch wide section and backcomb using

a backcomb brush to add a bit of volume.

So to complete the Blair Waldorf look we are going to add in a bit of hair jewelry. So

any kind of decorative pieces you have: Alice bands, pretty bits of ribbon. Just pop them

on the crown of the head to give that really pretty look.

Okay well there's look one done and dusted. And what we can do now is create Blair's signature

undo by simply pulling back a few strands of the curly hair.

So if you take a section just behind the hairband and leave that to one side. And do the same

on the other side. Lightly pull it back into a low pony and secure with a bobbin.

So with the remaining hair what we are going to do is kind of criss cross it over each

other to create a kind of plait effect down near the nape of the neck.

Take a small piece from the right side of the head, this is going to be your starting

block. Cross it over and pin into place on the opposite side of the pony tail. So you're

going to repeat this on the opposite side.

So when you get to the last strand of hair, pull it back like you did with the others

but wrap it under the ponytail.

And pull it quite tightly. You can really see that it is a plait kind of ponytail effect.

So it doesn't matter if you see a few stray bits at the front, it kind of add to the effect.

I'm just going to finish off this look with a little bit of hairspray just to hold in

place.

So there you have it. Two Blair Waldrof look. So guys if there's anything else you'd like
