But, regarding the issue of guns, the United States already has existing regulations which are background checks. A background check is required before people purchase a firearm. So why is the current regulation unable to effectively prevent mass shootings? What's wrong with the current gun-buying system in America? And there's never a way to satisfy everyone. However, studies have found that the licensing system can effectively screen out people who shouldn't have guns and reduce impulsive gun purchases. What amazes me is that this system can minimize impulsive firearm purchases through a relatively complex checking process and firearm safety lectures.
