Hey, what’s new VoiceTube fam? My name is Wen, since I’m new here, I might as well start with some {quirks [kwɝk]n.怪癖} about myself. I’m a major bookworm which means you’ll no doubt always catch me with a book in my bag, most of the time it’s the only thing I carry. I also love volleyball, TV shows and music. Some of my favorite shows include Friends, Suits, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Veronica Mars, {the list goes on}. As for my favorite music, {um.. The Vamps, anyone?} Billie Eilish, the music from the 80s, yes, {the entire decade}. And that’s enough about me, let’s focus on you. I hope you all out there having a grand time, but if you’re not, hey, I’ve got you {covered}. I don’t know about you but I’ve definitely had my off days, days with this giant brain fog(腦霧) hovering(v.盤旋) over me rendering(v.使變得) me useless, and then I’ll go ahead and beat(v.捶打) myself over having done too little or nothing at all(責怪自己做太少或什麼都沒做). After stumbling upon(偶然發現) this video though I realize that there is this saying called high-functioning depression, and there’re 7 basic signs show you’ve got it, and surprise, surprise, I’ve hit the jackpot(頭獎). Did you just get a nasty(a.討厭的) {nagging(a.糾纏不休的)} feeling in the pit of your stomach(心底) where you know something bad is coming your way because this sounds all too familiar? Not {to} worry, {as our} video points out in our sentence of the day: If you do have high-functioning depression, try to find the root of it. Only by doing so can you truly live happily.
