And you’re listening to VoiceTube’s weekly CNN 10 pronunciation challenge show. Bringing you what’s new.

And now, it’s time for a news briefing.

Today’s news remains focused on the Coronavirus pandemic. The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 24 million globally, with the US having the most with approximately 5.8 million confirmed cases. Since COVID-19 started spreading around the world in early January, scientists have been trying to find a way to stop it and to develop new vaccines to try to prevent people from catching it. With more than 100 vaccines worldwide still under research, Russia has become the first country to officially grant approval for the world's first coronavirus vaccine and they plan to commence mass production in September and October.

Although the world is eagerly waiting for a vaccine to save the day, experts are now worried that when the vaccine comes, many people will reject the vaccine because it was made so quickly. However, if a large percentage of people chose not to get vaccinated, then we would never get herd immunity, which slows down our pace to full recovery. That is also why gaining the trust for vaccines in the public community is another big challenge for the society to cope with.

【心得】病毒不受控，人也不受控，加上又涉及經濟政治，不知何時才會消散。(在不確定疫苗的效力/效期和風險前，我也不太敢輕易嘗試打疫苗。)

另外，想求救一下：
我的Win10更新之後，內建麥克風無法使用。之前出現過一次災情，我還原更新之後麥克風就復活了。
而這次更新之後，我有好一陣子沒有用到內建麥克風，結果昨天開網頁版要錄音，發現麥克風又不能用了。
我想要還原更新，結果超過10天，不能還原了。
請問還有什麼方法可以拯救我的麥克風？謝謝！

我得了不戴口罩無法出門的病。
去山裡散步也戴口罩。
在外面除非吃東西喝水，會一直都戴著口罩。
喜歡戴立體口罩，不會悶。

Q1: I agree to get vaccinated because it is the most effective way to avoid getting infected. However, I won’t get vaccinated immediately when the covid19 vaccine comes out. Because the inventing process is not complete and proper like normal process.
Q2: The pandemic changes my lifestyle. I reduce my social life and avoid going to crowded places, especially in the weekend.
Q3: Ken, do you get vaccinated for COVID19?

1. I agree to get vaccinated as long as the vaccine is tested carefully and completely.
2. Since I’m a person who often stay at home, it seems that my life doesn’t change a lot because of the pandemic.
