Hello everyone! This’s Helena. Welcome to today’s pronunciation challenge. As you might have noticed, I got a cold today so my voice is super broken. So today, we’re going to talk about bubble tea. People from all over the world love bubble tea. Sounds a bit out of nowhere, right?

But I’m actually speaking from my personal experience. As what I mentioned in my first episode, I used to study in Hong Kong with students from over eighty countries in the world. And according to my observation, love for bobas has spread across all continents([ˋkɑntənənt]大洲). At school, I often hear people saying: “I’m craving(渴望的) for a bubble tea.” or “Wanna go buy some bubble tea?” Although, in my sound a bit hard to believe for Taiwanese people, buying a bubble tea with friend was one of our favorite social activities. Personally, it is also my favorite way to take a break from my study. In our free time, we’d go to shopping center by train, buy bubble teas, and walk back to campus along the beachside.
So this video proves that the fancy of boba is not limited to Hong Kong and my campus. In New York, people could spend hours waiting in lines for brown-sugar bubble tea, Tiger Sugar. Can you believe that? Check out today’s video to find out what happens there? But actually i speak for my experiences, as what i mentioned in my first episode, i used to study in Hong Kong with the student form over 18 countries in the world, and according to my observation, love for bubble(?) has spread across over all countless, as school i often hear the people say, “i am cating (?) for a bubble tea.” or “Wanna buy some bubble tea?”although in my sound is hardly believed telling this people, Buying bubble tea with friends was a one of our favourite society activity. personally i was like to take a break for my study and in a free time , we were going to the shopping centre by train buy bubble teas, and walk back to the campus along the beach side.
