無所事事之餘，他閒晃到了一家書店，並在那讀到了有關蘇格拉底的書，因而開始萌生興趣，於是就進一步去尋找城市裡著名的哲學家並跟著他們一起學習。
【心得】影片中有句話讓我覺得很有感觸(the philosopher Epictetus wrote that)："suffering stems not from the events in our lives, but from our judgements about them."「我們心靈上所承受的苦難並非源自於自己人生中所遭遇到的事情，而是源自於我們如何去看待這些事情。」其實我覺得自己很多反射性的思考模式都在生長過程中被制約了，要改不容易，但還是要常提醒自己：每天來點瞎能量。
