Maybe a quarter of it happened, and not like this.

- First I would love to know how do you feel about goodbyes?

In general?

Not great at goodbyes.

不擅長說再見

I like them to be quick.

我喜歡速戰速決

I sometimes will actually just avoid them.

有時候，我會盡量避免遇到這情況

I'm the guy at the party who just walks out

我就是那種在派對直接走掉的人

rather than say goodbye to everybody.

我不會跟人一一道別

And in this case it took me 17 years

不過這一次，這一次道別

to say goodbye, so I was ready for it and I'm okay

足足用了十七年，所以我已經準備好了

but it was emotional last night watching the movie.

不過昨晚看電影時，心裡還是有點激動

I was sitting next to Patrick Stewart and James Mangold,

我坐在派屈克史都華和導演詹姆士曼格旁邊

the writer director, both of whom I've worked with

16, 17 years so it was, it was a lot to take in.

十六、十七年了，所以要慢慢去適應

- [Man] Logan, what did you do?

- [Man] Charles the world is not the same as it was.

Mutants, they're gone now.

- How would a good day for Logan look like?

Let's say he is retired,

he doesn't have a care in the world.

- I think he's on a boat.

I think he's probably on a boat

and there's a few, maybe possibly

one or two other people, but that's about it

and he's probably got a cigar and a beer

and he's fishing and it's easy.

Like I think he wants just

a simple, easy, uncomplicated life.

Sounds like most men I know.

- You are not only a brilliant actor,

you also very talented as singer and dancer.

How would you stage a musical performance number

for the Wolverine?

你會怎樣設計呢？

- I wouldn't.

－我可不會做呢

I'm obviously not that talented,

－當然，我本身就沒有甚麼才華

but I cannot see that working

不過，我覺得那根本不可行

in any way, shape, or form.

甚麼方式、形式也行不通

I'm not sure if I could see Wolverine himself

我自己也不肯定，金剛狼他

going to a musical, let alone being in one.

會去看音樂劇嗎？作為金剛狼，我也不知道呢

He'd just walk on there and anyone starts singing,

他走到那兒，突然有人開始唱歌的話

he would start fighting them.

Don't start, he'd be that guy, don't, don't, don't sing.

- I imagine when you play a character

for about 17 years, and then you have to say goodbye

- Do you feel like there will be moments

- That's interesting.

It'd be, it's sort of a sad thought

It doesn't leave you, it's like,

it's not just a memory, it's something

that you've helped to create so it's part of who you are

and always will be, so but it's been good therapy

for me for the past 17 years.

- Could you even imagine your life

or how it would look like if you wouldn't have gone

又或者你沒有投身演戲事業

into acting, if you would've gone

而走了完全不同的路上的話

a completely different way?

- Yeah I'd probably be sitting where you are.

I actually went to university and majored in journalism,

其實，我在大學主修新聞

so I'd probably be where you are

所以我應該會在你的位置上吧

and I would've enjoyed that.

我應該會蠻享受的

I actually...

I, I even in acting you notice

就算是演戲，你也能察覺

I do lots of different things,

我做很多不同的事

so I do believe there's more than one path necessarily

所以我相信還有很多條路能走

but nothing has, certainly when I was studying

不過——當然，我還在讀書的時候

to be a journalist and I compare it to when

還在學習做一名記者的時候

I was studying to be an actor, the passion was

如果跟我在學習做一名演員的時候比較

way higher being an actor.

學做記者的時候，我的熱情可是高多了

I never missed a day.

我從沒缺過課

The other one felt a little bit like a chore.

反而另一邊就比較像例行工作

- So if you were sitting in my chair right now,

who would you like to interview?

你會想訪問誰呢？

Is there a person you would love to talk with?

你有一個特別想要跟他談天的人嗎？

- Oh a lot, yeah lots of people.

－很多，有很多人

I'm interested in philosophers and I'm interested

我對哲學家很有興趣

in cutting edge sort of scientists and politicians.

還有那些前衛的科學家、政治家

That's probably, not a lot of actors.

演員就沒有很多特別想的

I would, but you know I work and live with them

你也知道，我跟他們一起工作、生活

so maybe that's just not as interesting to me.

所以，就沒有特別感興趣

- And is there an actor maybe also from the past

－那如果是過去的演員呢

you would like to have a chat with

you never had the chance to?

- Yeah, I like Cary Grant, Gregory Peck.
