He's pro-choice

I don’t think that it’s up to legislators to dictate what a woman has to do with her body

He's pro-marijuana

I think five or six times in my life that I've taken a puff

He just announced a woman will be on Canada’s next bank note,

and he's a feminist

We shouldn't be afraid of the word 'feminist'

Men and women should use it to describe themselves anytime they want

He's young and ambitious

but critics say he can’t actually back it all up

You're too young

You're inexperienced

That you don’t have what it takes to do this job

The way I respond to it is by ignoring it

Others say his only real credential is being the son of a former prime minister

Despite being in the public eye for so long, he manages to seem normal

I was a snowboard instructor

I was a bouncer at a nightclub

I was a white water river guide for many years

Regardless of political preferences,

Trudeau comes off as, well

cool

He's boxed

and stripped for charity,

he acted in a war documentary,

he has a tattoo,

he hangs with pandas

He even has a party trick where he falls down stairs

The U.S. has Trudeau to the north

and President Enrique Peña Nieto to the south

Basically, North America has two fresh, artisanal buns,

and we're just hoping the meat we get isn't

old steak

So here's to you

Unlike other Justins from Canada

Trudeau is one that everybody can get behind
