Why is it important to practice talking about your day in English?

為什麼練習用英文聊自己的一天很重要呢？

因為你的一天是真實的，所以很重要。

It's something that happens to you every day.

這是每天都會發生在你身上的事。

You don't need to search for words or ideas.

You don't need to talk about history, science or politics.

你不需要去談論歷史、科學或政治。

You can say what time you wake up, what you eat for breakfast.

你可以說你幾點起床、早餐吃了什麼。

You can say if you go to work or stay at home.

你可以說你是去上班還是待在家裡。

You can say how you feel tired, busy, happy or relaxed.

你可以說你覺得累、忙、開心還是放鬆。

When you describe your own day, you're practicing real English, useful English.

當你描述自己的一天時，你就是在練習真實、有用的英文。

English that you can use with other people.

When you talk about your day, you begin to think in English.

In the evening, I made dinner and watched tv.

Ok, let's start at the beginning of the day.

Morning is a very important part of your day.

And it's a perfect time to speak and think in English, even for a few minutes.

Now let's practice some simple morning sentences together.

Repeat each one slowly, just like shadowing.

就像 shadow 一樣，慢慢地跟著重複說。

Sometimes I wake up earlier, around 6:30, when I have a lot to do.

有時候我會早一點起床，大概六點半，如果事情很多的話。

如果我睡太晚，我就會覺得很累。

The next morning, I stay in bed for a few minutes and think about my day.

隔天早上，我會在床上賴幾分鐘，想著今天要做的事。

I like to take a deep breath and stretch my arms and legs.

我喜歡深呼吸，伸展我的手和腳。

I walk to the bathroom and brush my teeth.

I brush slowly and carefully for two minutes.

Sometimes I take a quick shower, especially if I feel sleepy.

有時候我會快速沖個澡，特別是如果我覺得很睏。

When I shower, I like to play soft music or listen to English audio.

洗澡的時候，我喜歡放點輕柔的音樂，或是聽英文聽力。

After my shower, I dry off and put on my clothes.

I try to wear something clean and comfortable.

Next, I go to the kitchen and prepare my breakfast.

I usually eat something simple like toast, eggs and fruit.

我通常會吃些簡單的東西，像是吐司、蛋跟水果。

Sometimes I have cereal with milk and a ban.

有時候我會吃麥片配牛奶跟香蕉。

If I have more time, I make an omelette or oatmeal.

如果我有比較充裕的時間，我就會做個歐姆蛋或燕麥粥。
