in the same session, on that 2-day session, I wrote another song called "Underwater".

It was inspired by many things.

because he had been writing a record with him.

The "Pnau v.s. Elton John" album.

他正好在合作的同時寫些歌

And he was just working on that

所以他們跟艾爾頓強在一起

the same time as writing some songs, so they were with Elton John.

然後我就想,"老是在艾爾頓講個不停"

So I was like, you know, "You going on all the time about Elton."

有點惹毛我,非常啦

And he kind of was pissing me off, quite a lot.

我才不要尼克利透摩 一直艾爾頓強個沒完

I didn't...

這是..很...你知道...

I didn't really want Nick Littlemore to be talking about Elton John all the time.

...沒創意的事

It's not...It's not...you know that...

反正讓我很忌妒

...creative, in terms of it.

所以,我就坐下來說,那...

Just made me jealous.

"如果我彈些這種的呢?"

And...

所以我開始彈這段節奏 我彈的是這段

So I sat down. I was like, you know,

這就是我開始彈的那段節奏

"what if I play something a little bit like that." So I just started playing this riff.

隨著前置副歌小巧的轉換接著進副歌

And the riff that I played was this.

然後,我就想,如果...

And that was the riff that I started playing, and...

尼克開始說些字詞搭上去

with nice little changes in the pre and then into the chorus.

And then, I was like, you know, what if...

you know, Nick started actually saying some words on top.

I was like, actually that's really cool, cause we're going with the rhythm.

So I thought why not do that, so...

And it just felt right,

那支米歇爾岡瑞的Levi's廣告 記得在青少年時期看過

so I started writing this thing.

那種水中之戀 "難道是水中之戀?"

And it happened again quite quickly.

這首歌在世界各地被捧到第一名

And I kept on saying to everyone,

只憑廣告的力量

Look, I want this song to feel like

某個水手跌落他滲水的船

that Michel Gondry Levi's commercial that I remember when I was teenager.

被一群...上空的美人魚救了

Had that underwater love, "Could this be underwater love?"

美人魚開始跟他親熱,脫他衣服

It was the song that was driven to number one

around the world, simply by the strength of the ad.

我想,獲得啟發寫首流行歌就太好了

Some sailor falls off his shipping boat

and gets kind of rescued by a bunch of...topless mermaids

who start making out with him and undressing him, and then

it's kind of to be continued, but you don't see the rest of it.

I would say it would be great to have a pop song inspired by that.
