Max,我很想去,但是我那天要和 Mack 出去。 Thanks for inviting me though. 不過還是謝謝你邀請我。 Who's Mack? 誰是 Mack? Mack. Mack。 When rejecting an invitation, you can start by saying "I'd love to but..." 要拒絕邀約的時候,可以先說「我很想去,但是...」。 And then you can tell the other person what your plans are, using the future continuous, which is the -ing form of the verb. 然後可以運用未來進行式,也就是動詞的 -ing 形態,來告訴對方你的計劃。 We use this tense when we have plans with somebody else. 我們用這個時態來表示自己和他人有約了。 For example, I'd love to but I'm hanging out with my friends that day. 舉裡來說,我很想去,但是那天我要和朋友出去玩。 Also, you can add, "thanks for inviting me though," at the end if you want to sound extra polite. 想要聽起來特別有禮貌的話,可以在最後加上「但還是謝謝你邀請我。」 For example: I'd love to but I'm playing football that day. 例如,我很想去,但是我那天要踢足球。 Thanks for inviting me though. 不過還是謝謝你邀請我。 How about meeting up on Sunday instead? 那在星期天碰面呢? Sounds good. 不錯啊。 Whereabouts? 在哪裡? My house. 我家。 Okay, and what... 好,那需要什麼... I've got cornflakes. 我家有玉米榖片。 Okay, what time? 好,幾點? Nine o'clock. 九點。 When's the earliest you can get there? 你最早幾點可以到? To accept an invitation you can say, "sounds good!". 要接受邀約時可以說「聽起來不錯!」 And then you can ask for some extra information by asking "whereabouts?" or "where do you want to meet?" or "what time?". 接著,你可以用「在哪裡?」、「你想在哪碰面?」或是「幾點?」來詢問一些額外訊息。 If you need to cancel an arrangement with a friend, you can say: "Sorry, I don't think I can make it." 如果需要取消和朋友的約會,可以說「對不起,我覺得我到不了。」 Which means I really, really want to go, but unfortunately I can't make the journey or I can't meet you because something's come up. 意思是我真的、真的很想去,但是很不幸地我沒辦法去,或我不能和你碰面,因為突然發生了一點事。 There is an urgent situation. 有個緊急狀況。 So, you can say: "Sorry, Max, I don't think I can make it". 所以,可以說「Max,對不起,我覺得我到不了。」 "Something's come up." 「突然發生了點事。」 Oh, okay. 噢,好吧。 Bye. 掰掰。 That's all we have time for today. 今天就到這裡為止。 If you have any alternative ways to accept or reject invitations or cancel arrangements, please let me know in the comments section. 如果你有任何其他接受、拒絕邀約或取消約定的方法,請留言讓我知道。 And don't forget to like the video and subscribe to the channel. 也不要忘記按讚這部影片並訂閱我們的頻道。
