字幕列表 影片播放 列印英文字幕 Hi guys, I'm Tony and welcome to “Just Speak!” This is part 2 of a series of videos I'm making to help you learn English and to help you speak English Each of these episodes is designed to give you actual speaking practice and you can watch these episodes whenever and wherever you like it works like this I'm going to teach you some simple grammar, okay? and then I'm going to ask you a bunch of questions using that grammar you're going to have five seconds to respond and then I'll ask you another question simple If you haven't seen Part 1 yet I highly recommend you go back and you watch Part 1, okay “Habit” you need Part 1 to be able to complete Part 2 properly so click here and watch that video or check the links in the descriptions below to see Part 1 This system is designed around just 4 main areas in English Part 1 was “Habit” Part 2, is this episode, that's “now” things we are doing now Part 3 is “future” and Part 4 is “past” with just these 4 areas you can speak English! so today we are looking at “Now” things you are doing now like before with “Habit”, “Now” has a keyword IN the questions listen for the word think “ah!! Now” and respond using the “Now” grammar The keyword is “BE + verb + ING” okay for example What ARE you doING? what IS he cookING? what ARE they drinkING? all of that is “Now” because you have “be + verb+ ING“ Like before with “Habit” you need to start with a person to explain this “I”, ”you”, ”they”, or ”he” and ”she” with ”Now” you have your person then you need “be” okay now, “be” is a special verb in English it changes a lot, so for example if you have ”I” I… am you… are We… are they… are and then we have “he”, “she” and 'it” so “he” becomes “is” He… is She… is It… is OK, so we have "person" we have "be" Now we need a verb with ”ING” added to the verb He is drinkING He is talkING I am teachING After that, you can add a noun or an adjective, usually a noun in this case For example, I am teaching English You are studying English He is drinking water Then you can add a time now this grammar is all about “now” so this isn't so important, but it's good practice He is drinking water now I am teaching English now You are studying English now Boom, you're done that's the grammar Keyword = “be + verb + ing” okay, let's practice, I'm going to ask you some questions and for a few of these I'm going to show you some pictures Listen to the grammar in the question notice the keyword “be + verb + ing” think “Ah! Now!” reply with the same grammar I am drinking now. I recommend you turn OFF the subtitles now okay, turn them off try to speak normally with no help!
