  • And guess what, guys?

  • Michael is helping me out today, so knock a miss is as touristy as you could get a nostalgic street filled with lots of souvenirs, street food and people.

  • But I wanted to do something a little different in this one and take you to some less traveled but amazing food shops, which are hidden in the back streets of a success.

  • All right, let's get our food on Number 10 Yaki Toady from Yasube.

  • So if you guys were looking for a little yucky Tony spot, that's kind of out of the way, then this is your place.

  • It's so out of the way.

  • There's not a lot of tourists here, and all you'll find is locals.

  • And the Yankee toting isn't pretty inexpensive Mr Popular, super friendly.

  • And even though they might not speak perfect English, you'll get along just fine.

  • I can smell this, Jackie.

  • Don't think I can actually smell the smoke coming from the shop uses that they give you an option of assault or soy sauce, but I got like a garlic soy sauce, and it smells so good.

  • I think we have some city, which is the neck meat.

  • I believe this is Judy Liver.

  • Perhaps.

  • Maybe it's just me.

  • Mom, I'm gonna try this city because that's my favorite.

  • So I'm actually more of a fan of, like putting this red pepper on it.

  • It's called Jimmy.

  • Have a bite.

  • Ready?

  • Good yakitori.

  • I really like the sauce.

  • You can taste the garlic bits.

  • The society in itself is a kind of like a fatty piece of chicken.

  • And it was like the neck parts of a lot of the juices.

  • I kind of hold really well.

  • This one is like a little like bad here.

  • As you can see, Mommy is intense in this, so when you have a bite, it's still like a little tender.

  • And then you get like, a little chewy texture.

  • E last girl that gets milk No way.

  • Don't really taste so much for the Turco, which is actually really good.

  • Did a lot of 30 place, has a really strong Turkle smell since you're doing a street food today, like standing up here and getting a fee, but you can actually going side.

  • That's like a little late like Carnegie Veggie dishes for like 100 which is really, really reasonable, I think.

  • Honey, look how big this only kitty years.

  • It's as big as my head number nine Ficus.

  • Much gelato from Suzuki in Xueqian is an old school, much a store, and they've done a collaboration with Tanya, and they make that big.

  • Is it green tea gelato?

  • In this world?

  • At least that's what they say.

  • But don't worry.

  • They also have Level one, which is actually one of my favorites.

  • Let's go inside and check it out.

  • A Green Tea Brands is Akin has been in the game since 18 48 and Cola partner Nanya is a much a street factory.

  • She's Oka to create the thickest macho gelato they use a premium green tea from North.

  • She's Oka because using low grade green tea craze a taste too bitter and strong.

  • All right, guys, chicken out.

  • We have two different flavors.

  • We have number one, which is like, not strong.

  • And this is supposed to be the strongest one, which is like a level seven.

  • All right, so we're gonna start with a lightest version.

  • It looks so good.

  • Definitely could taste so much flavor.

  • It's actually not as strong as just a regular much.

  • It's on the strong.

  • It's really like, you know, I don't really like strong much of flavors for me.

  • This is kind of like what I prefer has opposed happening something really, really strong, like a bitter much.

  • Let's check out the strong number seven.

  • Look at that crazy texture in there.

  • It's like they just pack as much much as they can in this little gelato.

  • Look how green that is amazing.

  • Wow, that is a much a shot.

  • Super strong and bitter.

  • I'm just trying to make this one that level the way you treat the 90.

  • And it's like the very last drop of tea that they beater beater beater trip is like this.

  • Oh, God, premium version of I differently.

  • Just try this one.

  • When I ordered the cup, like you initially think that it's this is like some sort of pottery, but it's actually a plastic man.

  • Look around at all of these shops.

  • They're all close, and it's crazy because I didn't realize it's Tuesday and on Tuesday, this show 10 guys all closed well, like not everything is closed but most of the stores just like look, because that it's so close behind me.

  • I really hope the place we're going to is open right now, and it's open number.

  • A fruit parfait from fruit parlor Dodo.

  • Despite the modern interior of the shop, it's been in business since 1946.

  • It started as a fruit store, and the later became a fruit parlor in the sixties.

  • You can still put his fruits here if you want, but the main attraction is a perfectly designed park.

  • Phase that arm or than instagram worthy.

  • Check it out.

  • I got the strawberry parfait and it even comes on the raspberry on top.

  • And then you have whipped cream on top with fresh strawberries.

  • Strawberries itself there from Yamagata.

  • Friends called Summer Tierra with a little whipped cream.

  • So the strawberry itself is really nice because it's sweet.

  • But it also has, like this nice party appeal wakes up your mouth like you're just like a sweet like nothing, but there's like a hint of tartness.

  • Let's dig into this home beauty illness.

  • I just love how fresh fruit is, and it goes so well with strawberry and vanilla ice cream.

  • Oh, it's like a strawberry songs jelly one upon immunity.

  • It's not two streets like a perfect sweetness.

  • It's like a sauce that master strawberry like minuses, sweetness a little bit, but only like have sure very good taste or flavor inside.

  • Okay, what is that?

  • Michael looks like a hotel number seven dango from Momotaro.

  • Momotaro is an unseen ing dango shop that most tourists passed by.

  • But their simple but refined menu speaks for itself.

  • People, I think you got something to look at that I got yaki dango.

  • This shop has actually been around since 18 71.

  • There's actually a picture of the shop from 18 71 right at the front display.

  • So it's actually a lot more salty than I was anticipating, like a sweeter Moti that just, like, really, really melts.

  • And they do have a lot of I like sweeter stuff here, so definitely worth trying that.

  • But if you want to try something different with, then try the academic.
