    • The website defaults to japanese language So you'll just want to select the english menu button at the top right to change all the text to english japan platform Are also on global giving.org if you want to donate on that site at this point anything would be helpful So we visited the wajima fish market on a rainy december day and it was about five degrees at the time The market itself had been around for over 1300 years so we were super excited to visit it despite the weather some of the shops were closed But we still got to check out various kinds of seafood local sake and beer the famous wajima nuri and suzu yaki Craftsmanship products and all of the other local specialties the morning market itself is made up of 88 stores But a fire that started in this area just outside of the market after the earthquake soon spread to the market area Since the firefighters couldn't get access to water to put out the flames even from the river This was because the flow of water in the area was stopped due to the pending tsunamis sadly Many of the buildings in the area were made out of wood So the fire made quick work of them one of the places that we visited on that day was a liquor store called Izumi shuhodo as we were walking by and trying to get some shelter from the rain This friendly lady from the liquor store came out and simply started to talk to us She was so warm and friendly We decided after filming to go back and visit her shop to pick up some local souvenir gifts And while we were looking around I actually had to use a bathroom and since she didn't have one in the shop She actually took me around the back of her shop where her own house was connected And she let me inside the house to use her own private toilet These are things I usually don't mention in her videos because it just doesn't make sense But you know just her doing that was super nice of her And when I returned Michael and Wolfie were warming themselves up see Wolfie being wolfie thought it would be fun to jump in puddles to start our street food adventure And by the time we got back to the lady shop his feet were frozen cold So she let him warm up his feet in front of her space heater and let us use her shop as long as we wanted To simply relax a bit from all the filming we just did and then after wolfie got some dry socks She was kind enough to wrap his feet in plastic bags So that his socks wouldn't get wet again from putting his wet shoes back on We didn't ask her to do that, but she did it Anyway, kind of a random act of kindness.
