Thank you for telling me because otherwise I would have gotten up and been like hi everyone I'm boo-boo the fool. bye so so so i know oh that is so nice macadamia seed oil and jojoba seed oil it smells amazing and the mist is really fine so refreshing i love it i don't know what it's going to do i don't know what it's actually going to do i think its sole purpose is to be refreshing and i feel refreshed so regular viewers of my channel are well and truly aware of the fact that i am a chronic procrastinator but in this instance it really did come in handy because it meant that i got to test out these products for a year uh it's july 31st 2022 today and the video you just watched was from june or july 2021 so i know a lot more about skincare today than i knew back then that was only my second ever attempt at trying a skincare routine i started off with the luxury skincare routine this video here if you haven't watched it please do because that one goes into a lot more information about skincare my friend lucy who worked as a skincare specialist was able to break everything down for me and explain exactly what the differences are between lactic acid bhas ahas so and so so lucy did pick out these items for me and i know i didn't list the prices as you were watching the video but that's because the prices have changed over the course of the past year these products were all basically under 20 when i filmed that and most of them are under $20 one of them i did notice has gone up to about the $30 mark but i understand why because it's incredible so with that let me go into a little bit more depth about what i absolutely loved about some of these products so the routine always started off with a cleanser and the two cleansers i was using were the hamish all clean balm which is incredible it's this beautiful uh kind of texture it just melts as soon as it touches your skin and yes hello if i weren't testing a whole bunch of other cleansers at the moment i would definitely buy this again see how it's not completely oh you probably can't see anything actually but it's not completely empty because i'm trying to savor it i use this when i've got a full face of makeup and i'm i really need to get it off and i need to be gentle with my skin and i would use this every single day and happily just buy it again and again and again but like i said i'm testing many products so eventually i will repurchase but i definitely recommend this as an excellent way to remove makeup 10 out of 10 for me this one lucy raved about this this is the neogen real fresh foam green tea and lucy was saying to me that it's something like um real green tea from jeju island or something in korea and the green tea leaves they're actually sort of floating in the bottom and this definitely works as far as cleaning the surface of the skin but i found personally it left my skin very dry so once i go through this bottle i may or may not purchase it again i'm trying many other foaming cleansers it's definitely up there and i would say my top three but it does just kind of feel very stripping so i found when i used this i really did have to follow up with strong moisturizers so let's talk about moisturizer you may have noticed that there were three moisturizers involved in the video the first of which being the i'm from honey glow cream this will make your day if you buy this and you put it on your face even if you're not a massive fan of skincare it's just so pleasurable it has like a frosting kind of texture it's so thick and it smells so subtly like honey it's just delicious and i truly scraped the bottom of the barrel like i usually do for content ideas absolutely scraped the bottom of the barrel dry and i was so close to repurchasing it but the next skincare routine after this affordable korean one that i filmed was a glow recipe one which will be posted soon so i was using glow recipe moisturizer this is still better i will repurchase this but i just there's a there's a no spend on skincare until i post all of this content that i've got backlogged so that one incredible the next two this is this is you know how they say like you can't pick a favorite child kind of thing and some parents are like no no i don't have a favorite i love you billy i'm like i don't have a favorite i love you no but i love i feel like this is like if you had twins they're the same they're slightly different you love them both equally you really cannot pick a favorite these are both incredible products the main difference is one is snail and one is honey so look if you're not really interested in having mucus on your face then perhaps go for the honey one but snail products work like nothing else i swear this the corsorex advanced snail 92 all-in-one cream i haven't even finished this well well hang on i was about to say i haven't finished it actually um again once again scraping the bottom of look if i do this see i didn't want to throw it out yet because there's still a little a little tiny bit left oh oh yes oh oh this is just no um yeah so uh i got a second one i'll let you in on a little secret it's a little bit of a spoiler for my glow recipe video but i was using the glow recipe watermelon sleeping cream uh for several months this is so much better so much better so much cheaper this is you go to sleep without this on your face and you wake up and you look in the mirror and you're like oh yeah yeah the skin looks nice you go to sleep with it on your face and you wake up and you're like i have been reborn it's just it literally tightens your skin makes it soft you do have to make sure that you wash it off because otherwise it'll leave little pilling kind of balls but the difference i notice nights that i use it and nights that i don't now then there's this one the propolis honey overnight mask by corsorex now again honey uh being the main this is exactly the same for me on the nights that i use it versus the nights that i don't there is such a difference the only reason that i pick one over the other is i don't know i don't know it's like if there was a a table and it had like different flavors of jelly beans and you really like jelly beans you're like oh i'll go for a licorice one because i like licorice maybe i'll maybe i'll grab a pink one because i like raspberry you i don't know both of them do the most incredible things to your skin overnight and for me who has suffered terribly with dry skin in the past this makes a world of difference but i do put them on over the top of a moisturizer i don't just use these on their own i still do my moisturizer this is your fault feathers everywhere so let's roll back the routine a couple of steps and talk about serums because obviously they are what's underneath all of the moisturizers so after i cleansed my face i was immediately starting off with the neogen vitamin c i've tried six or seven vitamin c's now over the course of the past year when i filmed that video you just saw i'd only tried the summer fridays cc me serum and then i went straight to this and i hated this because it was nothing compared to the summer fridays since then i've tried yeah like six or seven um and they have all been more expensive they've been like sunday riley low recipe vitamin c as far as price this is good for what you're paying for it's good i personally find the biggest difference in my skincare when i am using a vitamin c and that is what i recommend you splurge on you if you have a good good good vitamin c like summer fridays for example all of the rest of the things no matter how much you pay for your moisturizer or your cleanser or whatever doesn't matter if you've got the good actives or if you've got the good vitamin c i would recommend that so if you're wanting to just start out with vitamin c yeah go for it it's pretty affordable but that being said maybe instead of not wasting money but maybe just put the money aside you would spend on cheaper vitamin c wait a bit longer and a really really good one then we had these tonics we had the isntree green tea fresh toner it says green tea from pure jeju island helps control excessive sebum for soft skin i really didn't get through very much of this i've never gone back to it i filmed the video and i was like yeah that that was all right and i didn't notice a difference i'm sure that it does something but to this day i still don't quite know how it helped my skin because i never really noticed a difference in any regard this however claire's supple preparation unscented toner i just love this this is it's got a thicker consistency than water and it's got no scent but that being said it is still there is still a scent and the scent is just pleasant if you just took pleasant and put it in liquid form it would be this this is just so nice and when it says it's a preparation toner i use it before i put on any other so for example i use sunday riley lunar which is like a night retinol oil and it's um quite thick and very hard to spread around your face so i would use something like this first to prepare my skin to then accept other products on top and like i said i've used other toners you can get toners that have bhas in them which are helpful to lightly exfoliate the skin you can get toners that have lactic acid this that and the other this one i don't think that it really does anything other than balancing the ph level of your skin but it's just really nice to use uh when i stopped using it i didn't notice a difference when i switched to a different product the difference was just oh i don't have the nice one because you know a lot of toners are they're just like water like water this one has that thicker texture so i just really missed the texture of this and it's just a very nice product to use oh i forgot the most important thing damn it so sorry after i would cleanse i would use this the corsair x original clear pad salix alba bark water and bha i love this i love it all gone all done i am going to purchase more of this even though i have other bhas that i'm using at the selling it or something i i want to stock up on this there's pads you just peel the pad out and you wipe your face and it has this instant cooling effect but also you can actually feel it exfoliating your skin and when i was using this and i ran my fingers across my forehead i didn't feel little teeny teeny tiny bumps which like build up built up sebum and uh you know oil and stuff like that when you use this it just it just very very gently over the course of several days removes that top kind of layer very lightly exfoliates it away and you feel so fresh and then when i don't use this i mean i do have other products that do the same sort of thing but they are a lot more expensive and also they don't come in the pad form you have to put it on your own cotton pads or whatever or you have to just wipe it on your face this just everything about this is incredible and if there's one thing you buy from today i would say maybe one of these two like the snail cream or the bha cleansing pad if you have sensitive skin this might sting a little bit then the sunscreen the watermelon sunscreen you know it says um brightening and wrinkle care it actually it does when i use this long term when i you know put aside my uh mecca sunscreen that i love so much and i give this a try for a couple of days in a row it really helps with the tightness of my wrinkles uh it kind of pulls my skin in each direction and makes the wrinkles smooth out i really like this sad that it doesn't smell like watermelon will i buy it again possibly but i am interested in testing out others and at the moment i'm trying the corsair xlo soothing sun cream uh which i'm really liking this as well i like the texture of more than that so for me it's always a texture thing and i think that uh they both do a very similar job they both tighten the skin on my face and they both protect me from the sun and they're both spf 50 plus but there's many others on the market to try as well so i can recommend either of these to you they're both really great i also tried the black sugar mask wash off by skin food um i finished it all the way to the base i don't think i'll buy this one again because there's a lot of different exfoliators and this one it's black sugar it's textured like sugar and you're rubbing it on your face and then you're expecting it to be sweet and then as you're washing your face it kind of gets around your lips it tastes heinous offensively heinous and i just really didn't like the experience it was good at cleansing but i don't think i'll buy it again and um this the sioris time is running out mist my god i think the last thing that i said in the it's just a spray i don't know what it does in my glow recipe video and in my luxury skincare video i was using the glow recipe watermelon glow mist and i found that did absolutely nothing when i switch to this when i tell you it does magical things to my face so if i wake up in the morning do my full skincare routine the skin's looking good a couple of hours later i look in the mirror and i'm like oh you know the fine lines are kind of creeping back in because i guess throughout the day the moisture has kind of been sucked out of my skin i give this a shake because it's got a layer of oil on the top spray it all over i kid you not within like 10 minutes i'm reset it's like i turned my face off and back on again and it rebooted and it's gone back to how it was in the morning this is incredible i'm also i've been using this for a year on and off it's not every single day for a year but over the course of the year i have been using this and i haven't used a huge amount because the mist is very fine but when i do run out of this i will absolutely buy this again this is incredible and last but not least that lip balm that you saw there was a rainbow package kind of thing that i thought was clear lip balm um i thought i was just getting lip balm i had no idea that it was color changing i don't know where it is it vanished it came back from the camping trip and i was like never again and it vanished um but lucy put me onto this this is dhc lip cream this is a clear lip balm and this is really cheap and really really nice so that's it guys thank you so much for watching
