G’day VoiceTubers and happy new year! Honestly, I feel the year 2022 flew by so quickly! It’s that time of the year when I jot down my new year’s resolutions. Last year one of the things I aspired to do was to exercise more and to achieve better overall fitness. I feel like I failed to do that because I didn’t really stick to any clear goals or routines. Our video today talks about identifying the failure, understanding what went wrong, and coming up with a solution. Let’s first have a listen to the featured sentence and go over our vocabulary words.

Even though I know that after a good workout, I always feel happy and energized, it’s just so easy to slack off and switch on couch potato mode, especially during these cold winter days. I’ve come up with a couple of ideas to help me become more active. First, I am going to update my wardrobe and make sure I have enough activewear. I know that I immediately feel 30% more active just by being in less slouchy or non-sporty clothes. Second, I will find a fitness buddy. By making regular plans to exercise together, I will be less inclined to cancel or forget about my goals. This year, in 2023, I hope I can develop a good fitness habit and maintain it.
