SOMETHING:
用作代名詞，不可分開寫成some thing, some things意為幾樣東西。
無複數形式 【即是說，要用單數動詞】，e.g. "Something is wrong."
可作"某物"、"某事"、"多少"、"一點兒"解。
例句 :
Give me something to read. - - - 這裡所指的可以是一份報紙，也可以指多份報紙雜誌
Would you like something to eat? - - - 這裡所指的不一定是限制只能吃一個〈單數〉甜甜圈而兩個〈複數〉甜甜圈就不行~
* 在此類句子，"something"解作"一些"會比較貼切
所以，clip裡面的句子應該是"...there's something you should know"。而這句子形式與後續的"One of them is..."並無文法(grammar)或用法(usage)上的衝突。
事實上，如果重覆聆聽視頻，也可以清晰的聽到主講者是說"..there'S SOMETHING you should know..."，"something"後面沒有"-s"音。
