I am someone like yourself.
You've obviously you've been doing talk shows like this a very long time.
Yes, not your first talk show?
No.
Then I heard.
Is this true?
Your first talk show appearance?
You're very young.
You meet Donald Trump backstage.
Yes.
Yeah, I was a true story.
Yeah, it was my first time in New York and I was doing the Today show.
Andi, I was, like, really nervous and 10 or 11 years old and like, never been on live TV before and just terrified on.
They said on he was a guest on it, and presumably somebody went up to him.
It was like, You want to meet the kid that plays Harry Potter?
And he was like, Yeah, they're probably with less enthusiasm.
They have the biggest bed.
So they marched me over to him, and I remember saying, like having some idea of who he was, but not really know full concept.
And I said I was just like, Oh, he was like, how are you?
And I'm really nervous.
I don't know what I'm gonna talk about on the show, and he just said, You just tell them you met Mr trump way I to this day I'm like, I can't even relate to that level of confidence.
But imagine if, like, imagine if what I said to Billy, I was just like, I'll just talk about me when you do your Don't worry about it.
Yeah, I am interesting enough to be everyone still right?
Yeah.
Today you just got interviewed and left.
Yeah, you would come out and go.
They say anything interesting.
I just missed, like, that's how it worked.
He was here and you met him.
And also just like how weeded out what they be for, Like that young bridge kid loves Trump really into, like, real estate Eso this play privacy?
Yes, we're talking about the backstage.
It seems like a very interesting show.
One of the most interesting things is you actually ask your audience members to keep their telephones on?
Yes, throughout the whole show, because there's look, the show is about the nature of privacy in a sort of post Edward Snowden world and what it means to be bright.
But it'll also sort of brings in social media and things like that as well, and we just we want and there's a lot of kind of interactions that go on on stage, that we want people to be ableto be appalled in the audience and kind of like play along.
And there's like there's a pole.
At some point, there's like you can email stuff to us during the show.
There's a lot I don't say too much because it's a very If we pull it off, it's gonna be really cool and just unique.
But yeah, bring your phone's turned on.
You can keep him charging that it's all good.
Wow.
Now, are you someone that historically enjoys a show that asked for audience participation?
Um, yeah.
I mean, to a certain extent, I think it depends like how how comfortable I am with the whole thing.
I imagine, like my parents, my parents of people that would, like, shrink away from that, so unless on.
But I promise that, like, don't worry, I'm not gonna be like getting them up on stage.
So that would be it would be awkward if they were so suddenly.
I'm on stage acting with my parents.
This is kind of bizarre dream.
Yeah, I think in general, if I was asked to go on stage in a show.
I would be my nightmare, but my whole life, Like I think it is a young person.
If I got brought on stage, I would not want to participate.
I don't know.
Yeah.
I mean, I'm kind of I'm thinking that will be I think people are going to be into Well, this doesn't seem this seems like more like the technology interaction is exactly that.
There's a bit of that, but it's it's just lovely email you during a show.
Yeah.
I mean, that's something I've always If I've seen you in shows before and I have wished that I've been able to email like, Hey, this is I know you're busy right now, but this is great.
I'm really enjoying this.
Well, yeah, you can totally do that.
If you want todo you can review us made so I don't know why I'm guarding you do.
