I wanted to make a video about how I style oversize items.

I get this a lot from you from my outfit of the day Post on Instagram.

I am a big, big fan of using men's wear oversized where anything from Gary's closet really to basically gain to wardrobes for one prize.

The fall season is here.

So is the perfect time to start layering and incorporating oversize items.

I'm gonna cover the essential five items that we all wear or want to wear where our husbands boyfriend have wear.

So that way, anyone who's new to my channel, thank you still much watching this video.

So the first item that I absolutely love and want to see everyone's wearing all the time is addressing.

I started this whole fascination with men's Drescher's.

I think maybe four years ago, when I put a stain of coffee on my shirt and then I didn't have anything with me and Gary had a suitcase with him with a dress shirt, and then I went and took his dress shirt and I was like trying to style it, and it totally worked.

And since then, I can't tell you the amount of outfits have created using Gerry's extra large banned them shirt.

So the one thing you want to make sure when looking for an oversized shirt is that the fabric is not too structured.

I usually go for more.

Softer fabrics, gives it even more kind of like a soft or romantic look to it, a little Victorian style.

So I always go through Gary shirts and categorize them with what I can wear and which ones I can based on fabric.

My two top colors that I love and men's shirts are white and blues.

That's kind of my thing.

There's a lot of different fun things that you can find in thrift store, so I always suggest you guys to go and get inspired with men's shirts.

It is a little tricky sometimes to tuck them, so what I like to do is not button them old the way down, keep it halfway open, so that way you can talk one side to one leg and then the other side to the other leg, and then it doesn't make this like bulky, uncomfortable look.

I don't wear them with fitted pants because that will for sure guarantee that you have a bulk in your crotch area.

It's a look, so the pans with you're looking for.

So the second category is an overcoat.

I absolutely adore those items in my closet, and I love finding good pieces.

I will stand the test of time.

I usually love to even play around with different colors and patterns, because a cold can really make an out of it cooler or like a more statement outfit with fashion and trends.

Oversized is happening everywhere, so you don't actually have to go into the men's section and find a quote for man.

The things that I look for in an overcoat is again.

You want to make sure that the fabric and the structure kind of flows and doesn't feel too bulky and awkward.

There are some jackets that I wear of Gerry's.

There's actually only two blazers that look like they can work in War one in New York, when it's really oversized.

It doesn't look good.

So go for something that's more laid back where there's no like shoulder pads, nothing to structure to kind of make the look feel and look sloppy.

The great thing about an overcoat and oversized overcoat is that it's an amazing, amazing item that you can style in a lot of different ways.

I love to wear blazers under, especially in the winter, and you can play around with different textures, colors, patterns.

It just gives you such a bigger variety of looks that you can build.

The next category is trousers.

I love getting oversight trousers, first of all, because it gives me a room to breathe and have a good meal and enjoy it.

Second of all, it does give you that really cool.

Laid back looks very like Isabel Moronic, which is with pants and trousers.

That one thing to remember that I always keep in mind is that waistline does have to be fitted.

It has to look good and has to give some kind of definition.

Whatever happens underneath the waistline doesn't really matter as long as the length of the trousers and pants makes sense and you don't just kind of drag it across the street.

When I buy trousers that are oversized, I will take in the waist, so I'll go, and I make sure that I Taylor it appropriately to my body to make sure that I have the definition.

And I achieved the look that I want, which is sophisticated, cool, and that's a much like Sloppy stole my mom's spans.

The next category that I see, like most of us probably have in our closets are T shirts.

T shirts are an amazing essential items to have.

An oversized T shirts are even better.

Those will go amazing from summer to fall to spring two winters there any other seasons that remember, and all you need to do is to make sure that you tuck them properly.

Sometimes you want to wear a T shirt with a little more fitted pants and because you can't separate really the fabric like you can with a bun down when you try to pack it in hand, look bulky.

What I like to do is stuck in under my bra.

Also, for me, honestly, a super simple way to make a big T shirt look chic is to cut the sleeves, and that's what I do with all of Gary shirts.

This is like a home watched Gary's Closet video So you want to make sure that you don't overcome them.

You obviously don't want to have a big, bulky cough.

You just do once or twice, and it will create that kind of cool like it was meant to be their type of sleeves.

Sweaters.

I think that oversized sweaters are a gift to humanity.

Why, you may ask, Well, because they're super versatile.

You can wear them with jeans and pants and just stuck the men.

You can wear them over a skirt or a dress to give it another kind of way to style that dress.

And because they're oversized, you have the space literally the space to layer it.

So I like to either put a long sleeve under it with a different color and then push up the sleeves and give that kind of hint of the undershirt.

Or you can put a button down under it and just pull kind of the ends of the bundle to give that kind of more business E.

But like casual, look to it.

So they're quiet a bed of waste to wear it and dress it up and style.
