So here's my suggested answer.

I'm a highly professional, determined and positive manager who takes the responsibilities that come with the role seriously.

I am a naturally driven person who has the interpersonal skills, the decisiveness and the ability to achieve tough targets on dhe complete, challenging projects all whilst under pressure.

I understand that Amazon has only reached that status.

Here's my suggested answer.

I want to work for Amazon as a manager because not only are you the clear leader in this industry, but you are also innovative in your determination to maintain your status.

Let's take a look at number one.

Tell me the different skills and attributes you possess that will help you to become a competent manager for Amazon.

No, I've stood in the Amazon leadership principles on have used some of these in my answer to this question.

So here's my suggested answer to that tough interview question.

I have seven core skills in absolutes that will help me to become a competent manager.

Amazon.

These are the understanding that I must take responsibility for not only my actions but the actions of the people. 00:04:49.710 --> 00:05:9.950 I am managing within a company, a solid set of communication and interpersonal skills that allow me to inspire and motivate those people within my team to achieve great things, the ability to achieve difficult time sensitive tasks and projects whilst under pressure, but also the understanding that everything I do else working for Amazon must be centered on those 14 Amazon leadership principles.

Now, in addition to those off just mentioned, I am also able to know, go negotiate and persuading a strong and positive manner to help others achieve the company's goals and targets, holding people accountable for their actions and also maintain very high standards in everything I do.

What's working towards Amazons?

Core objectives.

I believe it will be a strong, an inspirational manager.

And Phil, you will be impressed with my strong work, ethics and determination to consistently succeed whilst in the role.

So that gives them seven core skills on attributes.

That's what I would say in response to that interview question.

I have studied the Amazon leadership principles in detail to make sure I can perform.

All of them is required of in this position of manager now one of them, I believe I've been consistent in in every role of undertaking so far is that off insisting on the highest standards achievable, for example, whilst working in my last team on a difficult project, a couple of the team members suggested we cook corners on one particular element of the project to save time and to also allow us to ensure the project was completed.

I immediately disagreed and explain that this was not the way to do things.

I insisted that instead of cutting corners, we should all stay behind an additional hour each day to do the project task properly and to also make sure we get the job completed on time Now. 00:06:57.520 --> 00:07:4.840 Whilst this was an unpopular suggestion, the most important thing for me was to do things right and to make sure the project was completed on time. 00:07:5.040 --> 00:07:13.750 There are no excuses for projects being completely late, and I would always ensure everything is done to the highest standards achievable whilst working as a manager for Amazon.

So that shows it gives a specific situation where you demonstrated one off the Amazon leadership principles.

Let's now take a look at another question.

How would you handle it?

Difficult on unproductive member of your team is their manager.

So this can happen sometimes on the majority of people who work from Zina brilliantly, you know.

But sometimes some people won't perform to the required standard is on.

As a manager, you have to get on top of it straightaway.

So here's my chance to these questions.

I would take decisive action as soon as I realized the team member was not performing to the required standard.

I would speak to them initially to make them aware of their short comings and explain what they needed to do in order to put things right now.

During my discussions with them, I would also ask to see if there was anything that was hindering them from performing to the necessary standard. 00:08:0.640 --> 00:08:9.170 I've been in situations before where a team member has not been carrying out their duties correctly because of a personal issue that they had on going home in that type of situation. 00:08:9.170 --> 00:08:11.940 I would still require them to get back up to speed quickly.

But I would also put steps in place to support them during their difficult period.

It would be my sole focus is that manager to get them back up to speed as soon as possible so as to not affect the wider team goals or the organisational objectives, so that shows that you take action straightaway.

You also look to see why the person is not performing to the required standard, and you put the necessary steps in place to get them back up to speed quickly.
