'island fantasy' is the brand new fragrance by Britney Spears that came

out this year in 2013

so it's her 11th fragrance but if you count 'fantasy twist' then it's twelfth

it's another 'fantasy'

so it's her 5th 'fantasy' which is pretty cool i've been

wondering how long it's going to take her to do another one

because i

think that this one is so different to the rest though

'cause i mean if you look at the rest they're all just bold colours

but this one

this one's not, it's

almost clear and it had like

this whole gradient going

with green to blue

and i think that's really cool and if you look at her advertisement i printed it out

just... i couldn't find it anywhere else

and if you just

look...

on the advertisement i think it makes it look like that's the sea

so it's the whole beach-theme and everything so it makes it look

if you look at the background the sea's going from green to blue and it's put

the bottle on it like this

so i do have some

picky

things with the advertisement

because if you have a look at this picture

and then you look at these

she has done the same advertisement for

'fantasy twist' for 'cosmic radiance'

and then for 'island fantasy'

but on this one they've photoshopped it to make it

the dress look like a bikini

and you can obviously tell it's that dress

if you look

ooh shiny

that's probably not the best one to use

you can see the frilliness

of the dress

and then if you look at the bikini it's

it's the frilliness on the bikini

but i don't want you to think i'm complaining because it's really a good picture

and i love the picture anyway

and to be honest it would look really nice as a bikini

but i just think 'cause you know

it's her fragrances and her fragrances are really big i would have thought maybe

she would have done a new advertisement for it but you know?

doesn't matter

i mean it's just like

she's got this really good bikini shape

right now

and i thought maybe she would of done

some with that but i guess not, but doesn't matter, so

if you have a look...

this is the new box design which is cool

a lot of her

boxes have this whole design going on with the whole

like different plants on it and things

and it definitely

i'm trying to find a good

one... right it definitely you can

see the

pattern in

'midnight' and

'island fantasy' the whole

plant like...

yeah... with the whole plant theme of it

i think it's cool and i like it and on that one obviously it's about midnight

and it's darker

and blue-y-er and things and this one has gone for more of a green

turquoise-y colour

i like it though and it's got

like these little spots like the jewels from the

bottle but i do like this box i think it's a really nice one

just cause it's...you know

a lot different from the other ones cause

they're all like metallic and things like that and this one's just

a plain colour

if you get what i mean i'm getting really annoyed though cause i can't really

see... if you open the box you can see she's put.. oh come on

she's put an advertisement for 'Britney Spears Fragrances' on Facebook

on the opening lid of the

the thing... of

the box which

is really different for britney fragrances because

she doesn't normally advertise FaceBook she's advertised FaceBook on her too look

so i think that's different like everyone now

everywhere you look for advertisements there's always that little bit at the bottom

that says 'go to our Facebook page' like FaceBook

has taken over

fragrances, i don't know if i really like it being there but i think it's a good marketing

idea 'cause obviously you don't just

keep it in the box do you? you open it and it's like oh

you know

so it's good advertising, so i haven't really gone into that much detail about

the bottle yet so this

is actually 50ml and if you look here

all the rest of them that i've got

every single Britney one i have are all 100ml except 'radiance' cause

'radiance' bottles are really big anyway

but there's not really

it's not that small compared to the other ones

but i am going to get 100ml

it's just because i wanted it as fast as possible

so i just had to order the 50ml but

i'm going to get 100ml hopefully

so then i'll be able to have it matched up with my other ones

actually if you guys watch my videos

you'll see i've got like these

units where i put all my fragrances

and i have no idea where i'm going to put this one cause my Britney shelf is full

it's like full to the brim ive got like three 'radiances' and

everything else

and so then it's all like

piled up into one little box

it needs sorting out really

this one i just

i really love this one i just reminds me of going on holiday so much

it really does

not like some fragrances reminds me of holiday because it smells like

i don't know, it smells like sun-cream or something like that but this doesn't it just has a whole

holiday theme to it

and if you live in like a

country where it's warm all the time and that is

my holiday

my holiday and

that smells just like home for you guys i guess but this one

just smells... oh i've got lipstick on it

love it that much!

but as soon as... i have to say straight away when i first smelt this

i smelt oranges

uh i love it

so i do have a few notes that

about the fragrance because i have to remind myself what they're called this

is an eau de toilette...

i'll just show you

eau de toilette

see i take french and that is just not good

and

her other ones are

eau de parfums

i don't know how to say that so

this 'island fantasy' actually has a lower concentration than the rest of her fragrances

which to be honest i do understand because this one is so

like so holiday and so soft and

i think it does need a lower concentration sorry i'm coming down with a cold

so the scent is just so citrusy it's so

it's so light it's so..

i don't know how else to explain it it's so gorgeous

i've lost the little... oh it's down there

it's just such a light

cloud scent if you get what i mean, it's just so

it's

it's one of them ones you'd wear on a really nice sunny day

and

you're just going out to the park or something

or somewhere

and

and it's just one of them ones where it's just like

uh... like it's summer and it's

spring and it's

sunny and

you know? just one of them ones

the top notes for island fantasy are:

citruses like limes and lemons

clementine

mandarin oranges, like i said it really smells like oranges

watermelon and red berries and if you Britney

fans out there look at the notes of all of her perfumes

you will know she used

red berries in 'radiance' as well

so then it does

tie in with her other fragrances which is really nice i like it when they

do that when they've got like

differences but then similar

i like it when it does that

so her middle notes are freesia

violet and jasmine, so the violet and jasmine just makes it a lot... not the violet and jasmine

i mean freesia and jasmine just make it that

whole softer smell

but it does give it that floral effect to it

and it just reminds you of going to the park and

maybe having an orange

and to go on the base notes are sugar cane and musk, and sugar cane just

ties in with the whole

of the whole other notes in it and i think it really does make it so sugary and so

it's like... i don't know

it's like putting

sugar on an orange

you know it's just... mmm

i love it so much it's such a nice fragrance and it's just awesome and i love all Britney

fragrances and so it just really makes it

so different from the rest of them but so

the same i don't know how to explain it but it's just an awesome fragrance

so i have worked my magic once again and

this is one of the highest one's i've done

since having my board so

i gave the box a 9 'cause i really like the box and i think it's quite

bright and summery and so holiday-ish

and i also gave the bottle a 9 because i love the bottle and i think it's so

different to the rest of hers

and i really love the whole gradient that goes

from green to blue

and then i gave the scent a 9

so i...

i really love this fragrance i think it's so summery and so springy and so

everything else in this fragrance and it's actually my highest

rated

'fantasy' i think

yeah cause then.. yeah

it's my highest rated 'fantasy'

because the only Britney fragrance that i rated higher was 'radiance' which is

like one of my favourites from

her collection

so...

i really love this fragrance and i gave it 3 9's

for the box, bottle and scent and i really do love it so

to round it off this is just like a

like a soft

like..

light.. citrusy.. fragrance-y

oh i just breathed it in

it tastes like oranges

anyway it's like

so

spring/summery like this whole

thing

it's just one of my it's my favourite 'fantasy' and i absolutely love it

and i'm so glad she's brought a new one out cause i've been waiting for a long time

i absolutely love this fragrance and i hope you do
